Has Primo been renewed for Season 2? Here’s what we know:

Renewed Or Cancelled?

The coming-of-age sitcom on Amazon Freevee revolves around our protagonist Rafa who resides in San Antonio along with his mom, Drea. The house is also constantly occupied by Drea’s loud and obnoxious brothers who are constantly involved in Rafa’s business.

If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be curious to know whether this has been renewed or canceled. Here’s what we know:

What is Primo about?

Primo is a blend of comedy and sitcom that moves along two parallel tracks which occasionally cross over. One provides a touching and endearing tale about Rafa who learns that he could potentially be the very first member of his household to attend college. The heartfelt elements in the show are seasoned with absurd comedy centered around the blunders of his five uncles Rollie, Mike, Ryan, Jay, and Mondo.

Instead of attempting to reinvent or parody the sitcom structure, the series embraces it. We are aware that any problem that is depicted within an episode is going to be resolved by the end of the episode. Additionally, the quality of jokes included, the way the struggle intensifies, and the manner in which every time the solution feels deserving are impressive.

Has Primo been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, Amazon Freevee has not yet renewed Primo for a second season. This is not surprising given that the sitcom has only recently been released on the streaming platform.

While renewing a series, Amazon Freevee is most likely to evaluate a variety of factors, such as how many people initially watch it along with the drop-off rates. It could take several days to months for Amazon to decide whether or not to renew a show.

Even though the first season of the brand-new comedy Primo from Amazon Freeview only has eight episodes available online, executive producer Mike Schur claims that production on an additional, yet-to-be-ordered season is already in the process. The writer of popular television shows like Parks and Recreation as well as The Good Place shared, “We’ve written most of Season 2”. He goes on to say, “We don’t know if it’s gonna get ordered, but we’re obviously hopeful”.

It’s likely that Freevee will think about renewing Primo for an additional season given that there’s a demand for more popular shows on Freevee. Given that they’ll get a chance to draw viewers and expand their library of compelling content, it’s highly likely that it will be renewed. In light of everything, we believe that Primo will receive a second-season renewal.

UPDATE: Primo has now been cancelled!

What we know about season 2 so far:

Season two of the series has not yet been officially confirmed, but the narrative might go on to follow the protagonist Rafa as he navigates the challenges and triumphs of adolescence.

While delving deeper into Rafa’s journey of discovering himself, his relationships, as well as adjusting to adulthood, the series could continue to blend humour as well as relatable teen experiences.

As previously stated, we anticipate that this will be renewed but we’ll have to wait and see. However, as soon as new information is made available, we’ll be certain to update this article.
