In Oh! Youngsim (also known as Oh! Young Shim, Oh! Young-shim, and Oh! Youngsimi), a TV show producer proves that her whole life is a comedy as she struggles with love, work, and adulthood. After finishing this season, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know.
What is Oh! Youngsim about?
Young-sim is a TV Producer without a boyfriend, trying to film a dating show. Unbeknownst to her, she ends up casting a boy from her childhood who once had a major crush on her. But he isn’t the only one who had (or has) a crush on her. Making her life more complicated is the fact that she is the living version of a cartoon that her dad made in her namesake (the show is based on a real-life cartoon called “Yeongsimi”).

Has Oh! Youngsim been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Oh! Youngsim has not been renewed for a second season. Given the nature of the show’s content, that could well change if it does good numbers for ENA.
So far, Oh! Youngsim has had a pretty good reaction from critics and audiences alike, with many discussing the show’s nostalgic feel and comedic moments.
Given the way this show is set up, we’re predicting that it will not be renewed for a second season. While a lot of the current ratings for this show are fair, the story of a TV show producer who has a cartoon based on her childhood can only go so far. So ENA is unlikely to produce another season. It is also pretty rare to find K-dramas renewed.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given ENA has not green-lit a sequel. However, if this is renewed expect Young-sim’s story to continue with its lighthearted and comedic tone with some enticing new elements. This could include something like a career change or a sudden life-altering event for Young-sim.
