Summary
No Good Deed is a darkly comedic series, bringing together a lot of recognizable stars and a tight script too. Over the 8 episodes, this one has been a proper rollercoaster ride!
If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is No Good Deed about?
No Good Deed revolves around three couples who are out to buy a stunning LA house from sellers desperate to hide its secrets. All the couples believe this 1920’s Spanish style villa will solve all their problems, but of course the Los Feliz home is far from idyllic!
Has No Good Deed been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, No Good Deed has not been renewed for season 2. Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made. So far, No Good Deed has had a pretty good reaction online from critics and audiences alike, with many pointing out the comedy and drama are pretty much on-point.
Given the way this show is set up, and the ending we receive, we’re predicting that this will not be renewed for a second season. This show has a good number of big stars, who could well be driving bigger salaries, and we also know that Netflix are quite trigger-happy with their cancellations too.
However, we could be completely wrong too, although that does seem very unlikely in this case.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about No Good Deed season 2 at this point given this one hasn’t been renewed. The ending does leave room for a sequel, and if it is renewed, we’ll likely have another 8 episode structure and a return for most of the cast too.
However, we’ll have to wait and see if that transpires. Either way, we’ll be sure to update this page when more information becomes available.
