#Nofilter is the latest Brazilian series on Netflix, tackling the world of influencers and teen drama. After finishing the whole series, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is #Nofilter Season 1 about?
#Nofilter centers on a teen called Marcely, who quits school to pursue internet fame. Inspired by her favourite influencer, Pi Love, Marcely starts with little in the way of social clout and soon learns that building an online brand is easier said than done.
As the episodes progress, Marcely’s life is made all the more complicated by her love interest Max, while a brand of supporting characters have their own issues to overcome.
Has #Nofilter been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, #Nofilter has not been renewed for a second season. Given the nature of the show’s content, that could well change if it does good numbers for Netflix.
Generally Netflix gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. The completion rate is one of the most important metrics though, as recently revealed with the shock cancellation of 1899.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Netflix make a decision over a show’s future.
So far, #Nofilter a has had a pretty average reaction from critics and audiences alike. Given the way this show is set up, we’re predicting that this will not be renewed for a second season. We’ve seen a few Brazilian series cancelled recently and #Nofilter is one of those shows that has a mountain to climb against other teen dramas in this field.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Netflix have not green-lit a sequel. However, if this is renewed expect the story to continue, with Marcely’s love life continuing to develop alongside her building an online profile for herself.

No Filter was hilarious and a great comedy with mellow acts, no acts of violence and less amount of annoying and disturbing graphics we are used to see on films today. I am really looking forward to a second season. I loved the acting was great and great chemistry between the characters.
