My Lovely Liar is the latest romantic crime thriller that warmed our hearts for the past few weeks every Monday and Tuesday. The show is headlined by Hwang Min Hyun and Kim So Hyun, with the two portraying great chemistry and keeping us entertained throughout the show.
What is My Lovely Liar Season 1 about?
My Lovely Liar is a fantasy rom-com that follows Mok Sol Hee, a young woman with the ability to know if people are lying. It is not an ability she is fond of, and she considers it a curse since it makes it hard for her to trust anyone. One day, she meets a murder suspect who insists he is innocent, but no one believes him. In an interesting turn of events, he is immune to her ability. The man is hiding something, but is he really the killer?

Has My Lovely Liar been renewed for season 2?
At the time of this writing, My Lovely Liar has not been officially renewed for season two.
The show has managed to captivate Korean and international fans and has maintained top ratings throughout its run.
Despite the ratings, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that are sure to move onto other projects, we predict that My Lovely Liar will not be renewed for a second season.

Given what we know about K-dramas rarely get renewed for a second season. The show also wrapped up all of the character’s stories. If we get a season 2, it will probably focus on Sol-hee and Do-ha’s married life. At this point, it is best to face the real possibility that the show won’t have another season.

The last episode of the first season showed scenes from the next season, including a scene where the dead girl’s body is dug up. There is definitely going to be a second season of the show. I absolutely loved the show and would like to see where it goes because so many questions were left unanswered.
