Renewed Or Cancelled?
Little America is the latest feel-good drama anthology on AppleTV. With bitesize episodes and some lovely, thematic messages, there’s a lot to like here. After finishing all 8 episodes, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Little America Season 2 about?
The stories mostly center on different individuals attempting to achieve their dreams, peppering in flashbacks along the way to show the struggles these men and women have been through to this point.
The episodes here are thematically on-point too, with ideas like never giving up, believing in yourself and having the courage to take a leap of faith given a sizable spotlight for large parts of this season. The stories themselves are all pretty enjoyable, although one could argue that the series is a bit frontloaded and ends a bit anticlimactically with arguably the least endearing episode of the bunch at the end.
The first two episodes in particular are great and are the most thematically poignant too. The knowledge that each of these stories have been inspired by true events featured in Epic Magazine gives this show a bit of an edge, especially the final few minutes of each which break down who these people are and what they achieved with their lives.

Has Little America been renewed for season 3?
At the time of writing, AppleTV+ has not renewed Little America for season 3. Given Apple’s track record for renewing a lot of its shows, it’s perhaps only a matter of time before they do announce this.
Generally Apple and other streamers gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made.
So far, Little America has had a pretty good reaction from critics and audiences, with a lot commenting on the themes and feel-good messaging.
Both critic and audience reviews have been great across the board, despite some lower ratings for season 3. There’s plenty of scope for the story to expand too, and after that extended 80 minute finale, the door is left wide open for the story in the future.
Given the way the show is set up, we’re going out on a limb and predicting that this will be renewed for a third season.

Barely anything is known as season 3 at this point as Apple have not made a definitive decisions over the show’s future just yet. However, it’s likely that this will be renewed and it’s a matter of time before we get confirmation of this.
Expect more individual stories to be adapted, potentially across another 8 episodes and with a similar 30 minute structure. For ideas on what sort of stories could be adapted, it’s certainly worth giving Epic Magazine a read!
