What is Kokdu: Season of Deity About ?
Kokdu: Season of Deity is a show that follows Kokdu, a grim reaper that visits earth every 99 to punish humans as is the will of the gods.
In his latest visit, he “possesses” the body of a young medic named Do Jin Woo. Trouble arises when he is unable to send souls to the afterlife since as a doctor his duty is to save lives. This dilemma leads him to Han Gye Jeol, a not-so-promising young doctor. It seems she has him under a spell and knows of his power. Why did fate bring them together?

Has Kokdu: Season of Deity been renewed for season 2?
At the time of this writing, Kokdu: Season of Deity has not been officially renewed for season two.
The show has managed to captivate Korean and international fans and has maintained top ratings throughout its run.
Despite the ratings, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that are sure to move onto other projects, we predict that Kokdu: Season of Deity will not be renewed for a second season.

Given what we know about K-dramas, they very rarely get renewed for a second season unless they’re produced through Netflix. The show also wrapped up most of the character’s stories. However, should a second season be green-lit, it will have to be based on another grim reaper and follow his/her journey
