Renewed Or Cancelled?
In The Know is the latest animated comedy on Max, bringing together a whole bunch of celebrities and peppering that in with a smattering of humour.
So, after watching season 1 in its entirety, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is In The Know about?
In The Know centers on Lauren Caspian, who is the host of In The Know, public radio’s third most popular interview program. He’s not just a hypocritical nimrod though… he’s also a stop motion puppet.
The show brings a fresh and quirky comedic style while mixing that in alongside real interviews to make for an enticing and highly enjoyable cocktail of drama.
Has In The Know been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, In The Know has not been renewed for season 2.
Generally Max and other streamers would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made.
So far, In The Know has had a pretty good reaction from critics and audiences alike, with lots enjoying the style and format of the show.
Given the way this show is set up, we’re predicting that this will be renewed for a second season. The series does have lots of potential and Max do tend to renew a fair few of their comedy projects, even if it’s quite niche. However, stop-motion can be quite a lengthy process and a lot of these streamers are quite trigger-happy when it comes to renewals. We’ll have to wait and see with this one.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point as Max haven’t officially renewed this one. Should it be renewed, we’d imagine that we’ll be following another season of quirky interviews and more comedy to boot as well.
