Renewed Or Cancelled?
Hunters is the latest Amazon series, combining elements of thriller and drama together, as the group head off in search of Nazis to bring them to justice. After finishing the whole series, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Hunters Season 2 about?
The story this time plays out across two different timelines. The first, sees us back several years before Meyer is discovered as The Wolf and killed. Al Pacino takes up the mantle again in his role and most of these flashes sees him trying to keep his identity a secret while offing all those who could oust him as the wolf in sheep’s clothing.
This is stretched out across the 8 episodes while the main part of the story stems from Jonah and his group of Nazi Hunters, who find themselves mixed up with unlikely allies as a new rumour surfaces of the ultimate Nazi still being alive – Adolf Hitler.
Following that surprise cliffhanger at the end of season 1, most of this season sees our rabble of characters scrambling to track down clues and people closest to Hitler, eventually finding out where he may be hiding and taking him out before a potential Fourth Reich ascends.

Has Hunters been renewed for season 3?
At the time of writing, Hunters has not been renewed for a third season. Given the nature of the show’s content, and the fact this has been advertised as the final season, that seems unlikely to change.
Generally Amazon and other streamers gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. The completion rate is one of the most important metrics though, as recently revealed with the shock cancellation of 1899.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Amazon make a decision over a show’s future.
So far, Hunters has had a pretty mixed reaction from critics and audiences alike.
Given the way this show is set up, we’re predicting that this will not be renewed for a third season for the reasons outlined above. This show feels like it’s done and finished.

What we know about season 3 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 3 at this point, given Amazon have not green-lit a sequel. However, if this is renewed expect a very similar format, with Jonah and the group continuing to hunt Nazis. However, that seems very, very unlikely given Amazon have been advertising this as the last season of the series. However, there’s always a possibility of a sequel or spin-off.
As mentioned above, we predict that this will not be renewed but we’ll have to wait and see what happens. We’ll be sure to update this page in the future when more information is known though!

Just streamed season two in two days this show should continue.,the acting is excellent keeps you on the edge of the seat and has some romance and humor blended in perfectly !

Thank you Amazon Prime for streaming an intelligently written & acted show. My husband’s a historian/Vietnam veteran and was impressed with the series. This is a subject that is not part of our educational system. In fact, the horrors of our past are being erased from today’s history. Such a tragedy!
Anyway, BRAVO to all involved in the making of this show.
Bring it back! We rewatched season 1 before binging season 2. Loved every plot twist and turn. Season 2 left with more to be revealed and resolved with the characters.
Today more than ever we need a third season just to show the public how the nazi ideology rules this world
Only 2 seasons? What a shame! Binge worthy & would love more seasons or perhaps a movie for closure 🤔
An incredibly moving, inspirational and hope-stimulating series. It causes one to think about the possibilities in today’s world of plutocracy, autocracy, big lies, hate-mongering about BIPOC, LBGTQ+, women/girls and denying Truth to children, while systematically abridging the human and civil rights of these various targeted groups. “The Hunters” should be renewed for a 3rd season, if only to see a reclaimed Joe kill the Travis, the prototypic Nazi and progenitor of the current miasma of leading fascist proponents. The primary, anti-Nazi Hunter characters are exemplars of the type of men and women needed to counter the fascists and white supremacists.
A third season of “The Hunters” is essential. Spin-off possibilities are many and varied. It is hoped that we haven’t seen the last of the fine ensemble cast and their powerful portrayals.
Absolutely continue with Hunters! As stated by multiple other watchers, ALL generations need to be reminded, exposed and taught if the evil that can be. History is doomed to repeat. Currently in our culture history is being deleted because it’s uncomfortable or “offensive”. Well, do you think forgetting it or omitting it will keep it from happening again?!?!? Come on, you sheep and open your eyes to the evil breeding today. The atrocities shown in this do not even touch the true events that occurred. Yes, it breaks my heart to even attempt to imagine what all of those REAL persons went through, if they even lived to tell. But, we mustn’t forget. Be kind humanity. We are not here to hate.
I will be starting the series over again, for the third time. I hope this will bring another season. Even more so, I hope more people will watch!!

We ABSOLUTELY need a third season! So many loose ends still need to be tied up, especially with the bombshell news that Jonah received in his apartment! Could Ruth’s killer be in paradise with him?! And let’s not forget Hitler’s accomplice on the roof, who got away! Yes, PLEASE, give us MORE!
If you are a WWII buff you’ll love this series! I am and I do! It is well written, and well acted with a great cast! So hoping it will return especially after how Season 2 ended! More is needed!

Like every posts that i have read here, it’s a big YES for a third serie based on too much qualities from writers, producers, actors and above all, for the huge and unbearable reality of this humanity horror… Never Again is the message that needs to be produce and express to the world on the compulsory, obligatory, required third season of this amazing story otherwise, it needs to be produced for the big screen with a 3 hours conclusion movie. I’m 69 years old and have seen enough to recognize what is important and what is not… This production needs to reach a.proper conclusion for each role, bad or good, to deliver the proper message…

The way season 2 ended, it needs another season… The world needs it but most importantly this young generation needs to know what Real Hate Can Do & must Never Happen Again… I’m 33 & I feel like todays educational system (School System) is not teaching this generation the horrors of what this man did to the world & killed off Whole Bloodlines Because Of Hate how it can be prevented from happening again… & yes there where real Nazi Hunters That Existed!! We Need Another Season & just make it the last one….
By ending the Hunters series now we have no idea if Meyer, Al Pacino, is outed.
This is leaving everyone hanging. This does not speak well to leaving the fans of the Hunters hanging in mid-air.
Please bring back even a 2-hour movie to get to the end rather than shutting it down like this.
Yes!! A vote for a third season! Love this show! All the characters are intriguing and I never tire of nazi thumping! It does interfere with this 74 y/o’s sleep, but love it nonetheless
The show was good. Quite violent & many other adult themed scenes could be dialed down a bit. Seems like PBS or britbox could come up with something even better on Mosad I believe it’s called. More true stories of the same thing. Definitely more shows need to be shown of the holocaust. We forget our past, it repeats. Always wanted to see a show of escaped Jews from a camp, joining the resistance. It must’ve happen & what a great show that could make.. up to writers on season 3 I’m good w ending on 2.

Amazon do something right for a change and renew this excellent show. It surely can’t be particularly expensive to produce comparatively speaking.

I really liked this series. I found the courtroom scenes in Season 2 very interesting in how the law was used. Brilliant writing and acting, and I was happy to see that most of the cast members for both seasons were Jewish. There’s a whole generation that knows very little about the Holocaust. This series has been an education for them. I hope I see a Season 3.
I and my husband live in the UK and thought Hunters to be a brilliant series, and has been said previously this series has educated people far and wide to the horrors of the 2nd world war with a constant reminder this must never happen again anywhere. Whilst the show being very serious it also had some humour

Great series- if nothing else Jonah’s maturation into “ The Hunter” will define a new rendition of a super hero audiences would follow with reverence – Season 3 is a must!!!

Love this series and hope Amazon Prime changes plans and renews for a Season 3 or more. It is entertaining in that it is suspenseful, dramatic and humorous as well and also has the violence and drugs that some like. It is all of this whilst being educational and reminding us of a part of our history that so many seem to have forgotten or due to age, are not even aware occurred. With the politics of today being what it is, this show needs to continue to educate and help us to not forget what could very well happen again.

This is one of the best programs I’ve seen. A long wait for season two, but so worth it. Hope it will be renewed for a third, possibly that could be the final season to tie up loose ends with no cliff hangers left. But amazing and gripping watch.
Hunters sometimes introduced and refreshed people’s knowledge about the Holocaust. This series deserves another season. We need Society everywhere in every country to have the opportunity to learn as much as I can about Hitler who he was and what he did. Surely to God someone can see the wisdom in my words and move forward with season 3.
IMO, “Hunters” is a gripping, difficult to watch, can’t sit down, can’t look away, can’t stop watching, can’t stop thinking about MASTERPIECE that is deserving of an unlimited number of seasons and a universe award if there was one. It has been my privilege, my honour and has done this ol’ bird’s heart good to view an unbelievable, horrific part of history rewritten for the oppressed to achieve justice by any means. So if this is the final season of “Hunters”, then to all the writers, actors, producers, cinematographers, and everyone else involved that made this work-of-art possible, I say BRAVO!
