Hacks is back and the long-running drama continues to fire on all cylinders. The story is just as intriguing this time around, and after watching the full season, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:

What is Hacks about?

After being fired by Deborah, Ava is finally faced with the life she’s always wanted but struggles without the comedian’s presence. Season 3 takes things in a new direction, and it’s all the stronger for it.

Has Hacks been renewed for season 4?

At the time of writing, Hacks has not been renewed for season 4. Generally Max would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.

With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made.

So far, Hacks has had a pretty good reaction from audiences and a lukewarm reaction from critics, with many commenting on the story and how much potential it has that seems to have squandered.

Given the way this show is set up, we’re predicting that this will be renewed for a fourth season. The series has plenty of potential and although a lot of studios are watching what they produce, Hacks has a diverse cast and plenty of potential for the future. This is one of the studio’s more reliable IPs at the moment.

What we know about season 4 so far:

Barely anything is known about season 4 at this point as Max haven’t officially renewed this one. Should it be renewed, we’d imagine that there will be around 8-9 episodes, each clocking in at around 50 minutes or so. However, we’ll have to wait for the official word on this one before confirming anything.
