What is Fantasy Island Season 2 about?
Fantasy Island is set on a remote luxury island that Elena watches over, welcoming guests to make their secret fantasies and wishes come true. However, where would the fun be if it was that easy? The guests have to solve the island’s mystery to survive the nightmare their fantasies bring.

Has Fantasy Island been renewed for season 3
At the time of this writing, FOX has been forthcoming about the fate of the show. FOX recently released a statement announcing that the show will not return for another season. Part of the statement read, “We were very pleased with Fantasy Island’s fun and escapist creative, which we had hoped would gain strong traction among viewers.”
It is clear that FOX opted to cancel the show due to low ratings. With only a 0.20 average rating, season 2 was the lowest-rated of any show on Fox this season. The show’s cancellation is not surprising as ratings are usually the best indication of a show’s survival chances.
What we know about season 3 so far:
Sadly, we already know the fate of the show, but we can still speculate about the what if’s. If the show had been given a green light, it would have been nice to see how the relationship between Javier and Elena deepens and Ruby’s new love interest.
It would have also been fun to see who will make a guest appearance in the show. I was hoping Eric Winter or one of the casts from Devious Maid would make an appearance. It would have been an enjoyable reunion to see. Unfortunately, the curtains close here for Fantasy Island.

Great show enjoyable and a wonderful escape from the blood thirst killing we see on television. As many have indicated the show had very poor marketing. I am hopeful another station will pick it up. I was so looking forward to a show that inspired people to use their imagination one of the beautiful unused gifts we possess.
March 2024, and I just heard and started watching this show. I like it a lot!!!!! But again, poor advertisement by the network sends another good show to its end. The Show didn’t fail, the network did. A smarter executive in the network or a different one would bring it back and do a much much better job advertising it.
Just watched last episode can’t belive getting cnld its always the Americans that get the say on what us British have to watch if it was broadcast straight to us instead off us either having to pay a premium on top of what we already pay for tv or wait for it to come on our tvs and as someone else said above if it was advertised correctly sure it would have been a hit
Fox grow up and give us back fantasy island a decent family show that is well made and enjoyable and if you promoted it more the figures would have been higher it looks like you set it up to fail , shame on you fox
Damn, I was hoping it would make it. So sad, I liked it. Hopefully another network will grab it up..
Once again a brilliant show gone. Very sad indeed. I loved watching this. Needs to be brought back. For gods sake listen to the people.
Of course, a show that was pure entertainment, without all the violence, was canceled for “low ratings”. What is this world coming to? Fantasy Island was my favorite show. An escape from the everyday that showed what is possible if you really believe in yourself. I am so sad to see it go!
It was the best show on TV…not violent or a cop show.

The year in between the two season did not give Fantasy Island a chance. I’m saddened that there is no third season. It was my favorite show that’s come out in a long time. Fun and true escapism. Fantastic cast. Total shame.
