Family: The Unbreakable Bond is the latest thriller comedy, following Kwon Do Hoon, who is living a double life. He is a highly-skilled sniper and one of the best secret agents in the National Intelligence Service.
His wife, Kang Yoo Ra, is unaware of her husband’s secret life and believes he is a regular trading company employee. As it happens, she is keeping a secret of her own. Trouble arises when Tae Koo comes into their lives.

Has Family: The Unbreakable Bond been renewed for season 2?
At the time of this writing, Family: The Unbreakable Bond has not been officially renewed for season 2. The show has managed to captivate Korean and international fans and has maintained top ratings throughout its run.
Despite the ratings though, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that are sure to move onto other projects, we predict that Family: The Unbreakable Bond will not be renewed for a second season.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Given what we know about K-dramas rarely getting renewed for a second season, this one actually wrapped up most of the character’s stories. If we get a season 2, fans would likely want to know what exactly happened to Hwacha and the identity of the mysterious man on the phone.
It would also be nice to see how Chief Oh’s love story goes since she decided to give dating and marriage a second chance.
Of course, we would love to see the return of the family and learn about their new adventures in life but for now, it seems like this is the end of the road for Unbreakable Bond!
