Renewed Or Cancelled?
Class of ’09 is a police procedural drama that follows agents who struggle to maintain justice as they deal with lots of changes in the U.S. criminal justice system brought about by the introduction of artificial intelligence.
After completing Season 1, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Class of ’09 Season 1 about?
Class of ’09 is a show that follows Tayo Miller and Ashley Poet who leave their old lives and jobs to join the FBI. A few years pass and the two become great FBI agents but artificial intelligence threatens life as they know it.
Across the season, the series jumps between three different time periods – the past, present and future.

Has Class of ’09 been renewed for Season 2?
This is a limited series so we knew from the start that the possibility of getting another season was very slim. As a result, it is unlikely the series will get renewed and given Disney’s current trend of lay-offs and cost-cutting, it’s unlikely that this one will survive.
We have no other choice but to say goodbye to some of our favourite characters in this show. However, should things change and we get a formal announcement for season 2, we will be sure to update you.
What we know about Season 2 so far:
Given that we are 99 % sure that there won’t be a season 2, we might as well give up on the fantasy. However, it would be fun to see a version of another class.
They can bring in new characters and different storylines, for example the Class of ‘20 or any other year they fancy. It will be thrilling to follow these new plotlines while the show still maintains its interweaving timelines.
However, as mentioned above it’s very unlikely that this one will be renewed.

I am really looking forward to having a second season of the series as I can’t seem to get the movie out of my mind. I seriously hope they will consider shooting a second season in order to give the movie a closure.
I was invested by the end of the first episode and could easily see this cast producing a good second season. Hope it will be considered.
