Renewed Or Cancelled?
Chicken Nugget is the newest Netflix Original K-drama and it’s quite a crazy watch. If you’ve been following this one over the weeks, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Chicken Nugget about?
Chicken Nugget is absolutely crazy and it centers on a woman called Min-ah who steps into an odd machine and becomes a chicken nugget. From there, the story becomes ever-more crazy as Seon-man and Baek-joong work together AND embark on a crazy quest to bring her back.

Has Chicken Nugget been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Netflix have not renewed Chicken Nugget for season 2. However, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
The ratings have been pretty steady and the show is an easy binge. With episodes clocking in at around 30 minutes or so, we’d imagine the completion rate is probably quite good. This is something we do know Netflix looks at as an important metric.
However, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that are sure to move onto other projects, plus the comedic ending that closes things out on a loop, we predict that Chicken Nugget will not be renewed for a second season.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, it’s rare to find these renewed. With the exception of super-popular Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
There is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up for a sequel or a spin-off featuring the same characters but considering all of this, we believe this will not be renewed.
