Renewed Or Cancelled?
Brewing Love is a well written and bubbly K-drama, with decent characters and a lovely dose of romance at its heart. If you’ve been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Brewing Love Season 1 about?
Chae Yong Ju is a former member of the special forces in the military. She’s physically and mentally strong, but she’s similarly cheerful too. She’s also good at hiding her true emotions.
Now working as a salesperson for a liquor company, which she’s done for the last 6 years, she’s been dubbed as the sales king. Despite her dedication, her branch is on the verge of closing. To avoid the closure, she carries out a mission to sell a new beer made by brew-master & CEO of the brewery company Yun Min Ju.
Min Ju is a sensitive man, who is good at sensing other people’s emotions. He lives in a peaceful, rural area to focus on making beer but when Yong Ju appears in front of him, his life changes forever.

Has Brewing Love been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, ENA have not renewed Brewing Love for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
The ratings began with a share of 1.8% nationwide but since then, the show has been pretty steady over time, with recent weeks hitting heights of around 2.1%.
Despite the ratings, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that are sure to move onto other projects, we predict that Brewing Love will not be renewed for a second season.

What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, it’s rare to find these renewed. With the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
Having said that though, we have seen Taxi Driver and Tale of the Nine Tailed renewed recently, alongside Alchemy of Souls too. Given how steady the ratings are for this series, could we see this one buck the trend? It seems very unlikely that Brewing Love will buck the trend.
There is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up for a sequel or a spin-off featuring the same characters but considering all of this, we believe this will not be renewed.
