What is Big Bet Season 1 about?
Big Bet is the latest Disney K-drama, revolving around the world of gambling and crime. At the center of all this is Moo-Sik, a man with a troubled history and an addiction to gambling. Sometimes this pays off but with the highest of heights comes the lowest of lows.
Owing money to the tax office, other gangsters and swimming with troubles, will Moo-sik make it out of this one alive?

Has Big Bet been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Big Bet has been renewed for a second season. Given the nature of the show’s content, that’s actually really good news.
According to this article, the show was always intended to be done as a two-season series so it’s great to know Big Bet will be back for more.
So far, Big Bet has had a pretty good reaction from audiences and critics alike, with most liking the overall story and the themes played with. Roll on season 2!
What we know about season 2 so far:
Beyond the fact that this has been renewed, all we know is that Moo-sik’s story is going to continue playing out. Expect many of the staff and actors to return for the follow-up, fleshing out more of Moo-sik’s exploits as well as (hopefully!) offering some background for intriguing players like Sang-gu.
It would seem likely that the show is going to return either late 2023 or early 2024. But on the plus side, Big Bet is definitely coming back!
