Renewed Or Cancelled?
The Until We Meet Again BL franchise is growing and we have recently seen a spin-off series for the original Thai show. Between Us is the official spin-off of UWMA that follows the story of the show’s most loved side couple – Win and Team played by Thai actors – Boun and Prem.
Over the last few months, fans have followed the BL drama and religiously watched all 12 episodes of the show. After watching all 12 episodes of Between Us, you may be wondering if the Thai BL has been renewed or cancelled.
Well, wonder no more! Here’s what we know about a renewal:
What is Between Us Season 1 about?
Fans were introduced to Boun and Prem’s pairing when the couple played Win and Team in the 2019 Thai BL – ‘Until We Meet Again’. Since both boys played the roles of the best friends of the two main leads on the show, their love story was often rushed and sidetracked.
With Boun and Prem showing palpable chemistry as Win and Team, the makers decided to give the pair their own spin-off series in the form of Between Us. In its 12 episodes, fans were able to see the start of Win and Team’s romantic relationship. The show focuses on highlighting how the couple went from being friends with benefits to finally falling for each other despite their personal commitment and mental health issues.

Has Between Us been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Studio Wabi Sabi, the makers of the show have not renewed Between Us for season 2. Given the popularity of the show over its initial run, many fans will be hoping to see a follow-up season for the show.
With the fact that most Thai BL shows only run for a single season, it is highly likely that Between will not be renewed for a second season. However, we are aware that the show’s main couple – BounPrem are working on several other projects together as the main couple including their upcoming BL drama, My Broccoli.
Considering the love that fans are showering on the characters of the show, we could expect more projects starring the side couples like Bee and Prince as well as Phruek and Manow to have other special spin-off series. We’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available though.
What we know about Between Us Season 2 so far:
Since most Thai BL shows are reserved for one season, as detailed above, it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. However, if there were to be a Season 2 to Between Us, fans would be able to see Win and Team as well as the other couples on the show including Dean and Pharm as well as Phruek and Manow’s journey into adulthood.
With that being said, based on everything we’ve seen in the season finale of the show, Between Us will probably not be renewed for a second season.
