Thai Bls are slowly taking over the world as many viewers fall in love with the heartwarming stories and the gorgeous men. Bed Friend is the latest Thai Bl to come to an end and fans can’t have enough of Net and James’ chemistry. This was the first time they headlined a show and they more than delivered on their characters.

Well, after finishing the whole of season 1, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:

What is Bed Friend About?

Bed Friend is the latest Thai BL from Domundi that follows the lives of King and Uea who work in the same office. Even though they initially don’t like each other, they start a casual friends-with-benefits relationship. This leads to them developing feelings for one another but it is not easy to admit what they feel for each other.

Has Bed Friend been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, Bed Friend has not been renewed for a second season. There is a slim chance of Domundi greenlighting a second season. Even though we got a second season of Cutie Pie, we can’t be sure if Domundi will continue the Uea and King love story.

The show perfectly wrapped up season 1 and we have no cliffhangers so it is unlikely that we will get a season 2. However, we are hopeful that we might get a special episode that might focus on King and Uea’s wedding.

There is also a chance that their love story will be lightly covered in Middleman’s Love (the series that focuses on Jade and his new love interest)

What we know about season 2 so far:

To be honest, the chances for a second season are slim to none. If we do get a second season it will be interesting to see if Uea and King make it to the aisle with no drama. I feel like we still don’t know if his mom will start stirring up problems.

It would also be fun to see the couple plan their wedding and see the challenges they will face during this time. We all know wedding planning is a headache and some couples don’t survive it.

Either way, I hope Domundi will hear our pleas and give us a special episode or a short season two. We will be grateful for any little KingUea breadcrumbs they are willing to throw our way!
