The 7-episode series has the cast returning with some new faces like Alfonso Dosal, Andrea Chaparro, Ester Expósito, Juan Pablo Fuentes, Mabel Cadena, Nicolás Furtado, Pol Hermoso and Ximena Lamadrid.

What is Bandidos Season 2 about?

Bandidos Season 2 picks up after the events of Season 1 with Miguel trying to find the Tear of Fire diamond. Lili is threatened by a dangerous figure from her past who goes as far as to target the rest of the bandits. 

With all their money being stolen, the bandits agree to team up with Lili and find the lost treasure of Moctezuma which includes the diamond. But unbeknownst to them, Lili’s past is closing in on them while there is no guarantee of the treasure ever existing in the first place.

Has Bandidos Been Renewed for Season 3? 

At the time of writing, Netflix hasn’t renewed Bandidos for a Season 3.

Netflix tends to look at views and the drop-off rates before renewing or cancelling the show, along with the critical success. Some shows are instantly renewed like One Piece and Bridgerton while others take years such as The Watcher and The Victim’s Game.

Bandidos Season 1 didn’t exactly become a viral hit but it was loved by viewers when it first dropped in 2024. Netflix quietly renewed it for a Season 2 with a release date of January 2025 which surprised everyone. If Season 2’s reception is similar or even more acclaimed, we just might get a Season 3.

What do we know about Bandidos Season 3?

Not much is known about Bandidos Season 3 at the moment given that it has not been greenlit. The show ends with the bandits all going their separate ways. Miguel goes to Turkey with his father. Citlali plans to go to China with Lucas. Leo goes his separate way while Ines gravitates back to Carmen. However, there is potential for another team-up as Lili finds something on her mother’s gold brooch and smiles.

This open ending allows for more material should the show be renewed. If the show does return, you can expect a season with approximately 7 episodes, each lasting around 50 minutes. However, nothing is confirmed yet, but we’ll be sure to update this page as soon as any new information comes in.
