Has At Home With The Furys been renewed for Season 2? Here’s what we know:

Renewed Or Cancelled?

At Home With The Furys is the latest reality series on Netflix, depicting, quite literally, what it’s like to be at home with Tyson Fury and his family. With six kids, wife Paris and plenty of amusing segments, there’s an obvious desire to jump in with the age old quote: “well, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.”

If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know so far:

What is At Home With The Furys Season 1 about?

We pick up 3 weeks after Tyson Fury has retired from boxing, having hung up his gloves and deciding its time to play golf and have a few beers every day. Only… that’s not the reality of the situation, as Fury realizes that being at home is actually harder than being punched in the face for several hours.

This essentially forms the crux of Tyson’s inner conflict, as the Gypsy King goes from packing out arenas full of 90,000 people to the stresses of the school run and getting the little ones to actually eat their dinner.

There’s the prevailing will he/won’t he narrative around Tyson’s retirement too, with most of the family (including wife Paris) convinced that he’ll be back in the ring sooner rather than later. But then Paris has more than enough on her plate, picking up the mantle of “super mum” by juggling Tyson’s mood swings and the ongoing family drama, including daughter Venezuela who’s “12 going on 20”.

There are several other story threads here too, including Tyson Fury’s mental health, and episode 3 in particular does a great job of highlighting that in a memorable segment involving Paris and John. There’s also a parallel narrative featuring Tyson’s brother Tommy and his partner Molly-Mae here too, which helps to add some extra flair to the series.

Has At Home With The Furys been renewed for season 2?

At the time of writing, Netflix have not renewed At Home With The Furys for a second season. Given the nature of this series, that could change if it does good numbers for the streamers.

Generally Netflix, like other streaming platforms, gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton etc.) Other times, it can take months before Netflix make a decision over a show’s future.

So far, At Home With The Furys has had a very good reaction from audiences and critics alike, with the series easy to watch and full of memorable moments.

There’s certainly more that can be explored here, and with the ongoing strikes in Hollywood, Netflix will inevitably be looking at reality TV to bolster out their roster. With all that in mind, we predict that Netflix will renew At Home With The Furys for a follow-up season. That could change of course, but this seems like it has more in the tank to give.

We’ll be sure to update this section with accurate details over the coming weeks and months when we know more!

What we know about season 2 so far:

Not much is known about season 2 at the time of writing, given Netflix have not officially renewed this one yet. Should the streamers decide to greenlight this one, it’s fair to assume that we’ll have lots more drama, more exploration of mental health concerns and potentially a deeper look at each of the kids as they grow up.

It’s likely that Netflix will make an official announcement several months from now, once the final viewing figures are in, but for now we’ll have to wait and see. We’ll be sure to update this section with more information as it becomes available.
