Renewed Or Cancelled?
Agent Elvis is the latest Netflix animated series, bringing together a star-studded line-up, a decent narrative and plenty of violence to boot. After finishing the whole series, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Agent Elvis Season 1 about?
Elvis Presley is our main protagonist and he moonlights as a secret agent when he’s not performing on stage. Early on, we’re introduced to CeCe, a female assassin that works for a mysterious guy called The Commander.
The Commander wants to partner up with Elvis and introduces the King of Rock and Roll to the ranks of the TCB, The Central Bureau. They’re a secret organization that have been keeping America safe from the shadows, and now they need Elvis’ help as the threats continue to increase in extravagance and craziness.
The second half of the show throws in episodic issues for Elvis and his gang to deal with, as Scatter the monkey, hillbilly Bobby Ray and mad scientist Howard Hughes, round out the colourful and memorable crew onboard for each of these assignments.

Has Agent Elvis been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Agent Elvis has not been renewed for a second season. Given the nature of the show’s content, that could well change if it does good numbers for Netflix.
Generally Netflix gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. The completion rate is one of the most important metrics though, as recently revealed with the shock cancellation of 1899.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Netflix make a decision over a show’s future.
So far, Agent Elvis has had a pretty good reaction from critics and audiences alike, with many enjoying the violence and the fast-paced, frantic narrative.
Given the way this show is set up, we’re predicting that this will not be renewed for a second season. The show has a lot of promise about it and we’d love to see a follow-up but given the star-studded cast, not to mention Netflix’s reliance on completion stats, Agent Elvis is still going to be an acquired taste.
We’ll be sure to update this section with accurate details over the coming weeks and months when we know more!
What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Netflix have not green-lit a sequel. If this is renewed, expect more details surrounding the possibility that Elvis is a clone, plenty more characterization with CeCe and Bobby Ray, not to mention extra world-ending threats.
As mentioned above, we predict that this will not be renewed but we’ll have to wait and see what happens. We’ll be sure to update this page in the future when more information is known though!

And a word on Austin Butler.. he may have captured Elvis moves and voice to a certain extent but he most certainly did not capture the ESSENCE of who Elvis was. Let’s do that with Agent Elvis. If you need any ideas I’m free as a consultant LOL. An evil Parker who tries to control him via drugs…? Let’s give this man’s life a happy ending as all Elvis fans would have hoped for!!!!
Yes I think it should be given a chance no clone just Elvis surviving and making it in the nick of time to his show in Hawaii .. more of his music and concerts. Perhaps even him getting addicted to prescription drugs via the commander and overcoming that too! We also need a colonel .. let’s just say it could be a little more true to his life but with a positive outcome. That’s what Elvis fans want! I also truly believe that this legend and icon should not be dismissed. This man needs to live on! Through his uplifting and heartfelt music I think the younger generation would benefit greatly! So more of his music his concerts and the truly beautiful human being he was! MORE AGENT ELVIS!
