4Minutes is the latest Thai BL from BOC and has been on everyone’s radar ever since its announcement way back in 2023. With exciting themes of time travelling, revenge, betrayals and secrets, it’s for those who love supernatural mysteries.
The 8-episode series stars Bible Wichapas, Jes Jespipat, Bas Asavapatr, Fuaiz Thanawat, JJay Patiphan and Job Yosatorn and more. It is helmed by Sammon, creator of Triage and Manner of Death. With shocking revelations and plot twists, the season finale will likely have viewers on the edge of their seats.

What is 4Minutes Season 1 about?
4Minutes starts off as a thriller where time travelling and melodrama come into play. Tyme is a surgeon in training who has no time for niceties or friendship as he hopes to become rich and take care of his ailing grandmother. He is stuck with Den, the friendly and chatty doctor who is researching patients and their out-of-body experiences when they have a cardiac arrest.
Elsewhere, we have the Sriwat family who run a successful business but have a shady background. While the eldest son, Korn is roped into the family politics, his brother, Great is a uni student, doing his best to stay away from his family. That is till one day, a car accident leads to his time travelling back to 4 minutes in the past. It doesn’t end there, as Great bumps into Tyme and gets a vision of the future that hints at something sinister between the two of them.

Has 4Minutes Been Renewed for Season 2?
At the time of writing, 4Minutes hasn’t been renewed for a Season 2.
It has been produced by BOC which so far has not released any sequels and has been primarily focusing on single-season TV shows such as KinnPorsche and Dead Friend Forever.
As for ViuTV, it picks up projects they have distributed and announces sequels depending on the popularity, views and drop-off rates. So, if 4Minutes does well commercially, we could maybe get a sequel. But it is unlikely at the moment.
However, Thai studios like BOC do tend to give new projects to popular on-screen couples like Mile and Apo, Jeff and Barcode, JJay and Fuaiz, and Job and Bas, so we will surely see more of the 4Minutes cast in different dramas.
What do we know about 4Minutes Season 2?
Not much is known about 4Minutes Season 2 at the moment given that it has not been greenlit. And as we mentioned, we doubt there will be another season. But if it is somehow miraculously renewed, we would love more of Tyme and Great, alive and happy together. It could also turn into a prequel and give us more of Korn and Tonkla before their rift.
If the show does return, you can expect a season with approximately 8 episodes, each lasting around 50 minutes. However, nothing is confirmed yet, but we’ll be sure to update this page as soon as any new information comes in.
