What Happened in Episode 18?

In Ragna Crimson Episode 18, Starlia informs Ragna that she’s the real deal. Additionally, she informs him that she and the others successfully teleported away before Kamui slaughtered them. The two share their thoughts about her allies and how Ragna influenced most of them. Then, Starlia stops and tells Ragna he must continue his journey without her.

Starlia says she was born to become a sword called the Silver Comet and hopes this blade will serve him well. Ragna awakens from a dream and spots Slime yelling at Starlia’s depressed refugees. Slime notices Ragna and tells him about what happened when he was asleep. Ike calls out to Ragna and tells him he wants him to meet someone important.

Before they meet this person, Ike suggests he and Ragna eat. Ragna stops Ike and tells him he’s concerned about him. After Ike unloads his sorrows onto Ragna, Ragna hears Ultimatia’s voice and assaults the woman behind him. After displaying her time-warping abilities, she says her name is Carula, the Saint of Time and Dragon Scourge for the Solarian Church.

She shares her disdain for dragonkind and contemplates the idea of Ike dying. Before things get hasty between both groups, we cut to them discussing matters further on top of a nearby building. During their discussion, we receive intel about Nazarena’s double life, Starlia’s deal with the Solarian Church, and the church’s interest in Ragna becoming a Dragon Scourge.

Things get sour swiftly when Carula gives Ragna distasteful responses regarding Starlia and their battle with Zora and Taratectora. This results in Ragna smashing a table and him demanding Carula to take in Starlia’s refugees. In return, he promises to annihilate Ultimatia. Ragna departs and Ike thanks him for his assistance.

He tells Ike that he and Slime will be departing somewhere because they have to “unload.” Ragna and Slime meet Crimson and another individual inside a building. Crimson says he’ll heal Ragna’s wounds. The episode closes with Crimson showing Ragna a key.
