Queen of Tears
“Wedding of the century” or “war of the century”? Such is the question that the new k-drama Queen of Tears looks set to pose. Armed with hallyu stars Kim Soo Hyun of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay fame, and Kim Ji-won of Arthdal Chronicles fame, the show is a roller-coaster ride of broken promises and fading marital bliss.
Not only is Queen of Tears one of the most highly anticipated Netflix shows of the year, but also features one of the most high-profile cast, sending it off on a path of sure success. So be warned that the following article contains spoilers.
Queen of Tears Episode 10 [Spoilers] – What to expect?
In the preview for episode 10 and the events that unfold in episode 9, Eun-seong will probably be successful in his search for Hae-in. There is a short clip in the preview where Soo-cheol almost hits someone which we can presume to be Eun-seong. And it is logical since Soo-cheol lost his family due to him.
Hyun-woo will get entangled into a fight with the broker and his thugs. Since Hae-in still loves him, it might help the two to break the ice and come closer. Meanwhile, Eun-seong seems determined to do something – possibly trying to find a way to help Hae-in live. Despite his role as an antagonist in the series, it’s quite clear from the earlier episodes that he genuinely loves Hae-in and cares about her.
In another clip, it seems that something drastic happens to Da-hye. It’s possible to extrapolate the situation into assuming that such isolated instances of things going awry might make her think of Soo-cheol and his affection for her and Geon-woo. Likewise, from Soo-cheol’s expressions in the clip, he seems to have found some kind of a lead – whether about Da-hye or Eun-seong, we cannot quite say yet.
Meanwhile, Seon Hwa seems to have overcome her initial humiliation about her situation as she flaunts to the neighbourhood ladies about a certain experience. She also spends some “quality time” whining while working in orchards.
Alternatively, Hyun-woo seems to be complaining about Eun-seong’s visit. He’s clearly jealous about the whole situation which might be interesting to watch. Eun-seong’s presence might even help Hyun-woo and Hae-in’s relationship. Elsewhere, it seems Beom-ja is in top of her game as she visits Grace Go and seems to be threatening her. We might see her in another one of her bold over-the-top behaviour.
It’s also presumed that Hyun-woo and Eun-seong are going to enter into some serious discussions about either Hae-in or the investment fraud case. Hae-in is also preparing to do something, we don’t really know what – possible a press conference about her situation owing to her formal wear?
One thing’s for sure, we will witness some more drama, jealousy and corporate wars in the next episode! Are you ready for episode 11 ? What do you think is going to happen? Do let us know, we would love to read your theories!
