Queen of Divorce – Season 1 Episode 6 Recap & Review

Episode 6

Queen of Divorce Episode 6 picks up where the previous episode left off. Gi-jun rushes into the burning building to rescue Sa-ra. At this point, Sa-ra makes a noise with a hammer, so he knows where she is. Then, he helps in escorting her out of the building. As he lifts her on his back, Yul-seong spots them together and swiftly drives away.

Soon after, Yul-seong finds out through Hee-jin that Gi-jun has pictures of his affair with Yi-mi saved on his computer. Following that, he complies with the divorce terms and pays Sa-ra and Ji-in the alimony and divorce settlements they requested, ending the investigation.

As a consequence of her husband’s suspicions, new client La-hee seeks a divorce the following morning at Solution. Just before Sa-ra is about to take her case, it comes to light that Gi-jun was her ex-boyfriend. They find out that La-hee is the one abusing Kang-chul after conducting some investigation. Additionally, they learn that Yul-seong has hired her to create a wedge between Sa-ra and Gi-jun.

Eventually, they help Kang-chul get a divorce from La-hee and she is sent to prison on grounds of abuse. Additionally, Kang-chul gets a good compensation. Furthermore, they confront Yul-seong about the games he’s been playing.

After the case is resolved, Sa-ra learns about Gi-jun investigating Professor Seo’s case. Instead of just being there for her, she thinks he’s in Solution to use her as a channel to learn more about Yul-seong. Following this, she confronts him and he assures her that he’s there for her. As the episode comes to a close, Yul-seong watches from a distance as Sa-ra kisses Gi-jun.

The Episode Review

Episode 6 finds Gi-jun rescuing Sa-ra from the burning building. When a new divorce case surfaces featuring a disabled husband and an abusive wife, Solution jumps on the case. Furthermore, Yul-seong is seen hatching a scheme to drive a wedge between Gi-jun and Sa-ra.

Like the previous episodes, this episode has a solid storyline. The only criticism I can come up with is the actors playing the characters. Storywise, it falls flat since the actor playing Gi-jun lacks the acting chops to pull off the role. Aside from that, the show is exciting, fun, and engaging overall.
