Starring WJSN’s Bona in the lead role, the show narrates the story of an all-girls high school and the social hierarchy that exists between the rich and the poor students in the school. What is Pyramid Game about?
The show narrates the story of Sung Soo-ji (played by Bona) who is transferred to Baekyeon Girls’ High School in Seoul. On her first day at her new school, she notices her class being generally peaceful, but also a bit weird. She has to participate in a strange vote called the Pyramid Game, where the students in her class participate in a “Popularity Voting Competition.”
The game is held once a month and the student who gets the lowest number of votes gets an “F” and becomes the target of school violence. Sung Soo-ji gets zero votes and becomes the new target which leaves her to be bullied by her classmates. The show documents Soo-ji’s quest to get out of her predicament as she tries to end this Pyramid Game at her school.
Where Can I Watch Pyramid Game Season 1?
Pyramid Game is a web drama and will be available to watch on the streaming network – TVING for those in South Korea. The show will also be broadcast on Paramount+ in selected regions around the world.

Pyramid Game Episodes 5 and 6 Release Date
Episodes 5 and 6 of the Korean drama Pyramid Game will be released simultaneously on Thursday 7th March at 12:00 pm (KST). Expect the show to be broadcast across Paramount+ around the same time.
Also, do expect the episodes to drop with English subtitles but it can sometimes be a bit delayed, especially with Paramount+. Each episode will have a runtime of around 60 minutes.
How Many Episodes Will Pyramid Game Have?
It has been revealed that Pyramid Game is shorter than a regular K-drama with 10 episodes in total. The show had released the first four episodes altogether on February 29 with the remaining 6 episodes dropping weekly with new episodes every Thursday until the last week of March. With the release of these two episodes, the show will have 4 more episodes before coming to an end.
The show stars WJSN’s Bona who has been a part of popular K-dramas like Twenty Five Twenty One and Joseon Attorney over the last few years. Other than that, this female-centric drama stars Jang Da-a, Ryu Da-in, Shin Seul-ki, Kang Na-eon, Jung Ha-dam and Ha Yul-ri all in main roles.
What happened in Episode 1?
After Soo-ji is transferred to Baekyeon Girls’ High School, she learns about the social hierarchy at the school. She also learns about the persistent bullying in the school where her deskmate – Ja-eun is bullied by the mean girls in her class. One Thursday afternoon, Soo-ji finds her classmates participating in a voting game called The Pyramid Game that ranks the students in Year 2 Class 5 according to their popularity.
