Sony has announced the latest line-up of PS Plus Extra and Premium titles, the majority of which will be made available to subscribers on Tuesday, 15th August 2023.
There are a whopping 17 games in total, with 14 games coming to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus and 3 games coming to the Premium tier. Among the titles this month are Sea of Stars, a brand new RPG that breathes new life into the traditional role-playing game formula, and the positively reviewed Lost Judgment, which is one of the better titles within this month’s selection.

Sea Of Stars (PS4, PS5)
Sea of Stars, from publisher/developer Sabotage Studio, is a turn-based RPG that aims to modernise the classic role-playing game formula in terms of turn-based combat, storytelling, exploration and interactions with the environment.
The game tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.
Need a break from fighting and exploring? No problem, as there are many ways to hang out in the world of the Sea of Stars if you feel the need for a change of pace. Go sailing, cook food, spend time fishing, or stop by a tavern to listen to a song!

Dreams (PS4)
Dreams is for you if you have ever wanted to create your own video games. With Media Molecule’s award-winning title, you can bring your ideas to life with easy-to-use tools and share them with the global community.
If making your own game sounds like too much of a chore, don’t worry. While the game’s developers have incorporated easy-to-follow tutorials for anybody wishing to create their own masterpiece, you can choose to spend your time playing one of the thousands of other games made by people in the Dreams community. You can also embark on a full-length, genre-crossing story campaign that has been created by the developers at Media Molecule that showcases the creative potential of Dreams.
We gave Dreams 9/10 in our review so this is one title that is definitely worth checking out this August.

Moving Out 2 (PS4, PS5)
Moving house can be stressful but it can be fun too, especially when simulating the experience with a physics-based game instead of packing up your belongings for real.
Play alone or with up to 3 friends and use your moving skills across old and new dimensions with the aim of rebuilding Smooth Moves and becoming an all-star F.A.R.T. (Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician).

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen (PS4, PS5)
This sixth expansion for Destiny includes new missions, maps, and weapon types. In the game’s campaign mode, you will delve into Savathûn’s Throne World to uncover the mystery of how she and her Lucent Hive stole the Light.
If you are an avid fan of this first-person shooter series, you will understand more about the game’s lore than newbies to the world of Destiny.

Lost Judgment (PS4, PS5)
In this sequel to Judgment, you will take on the role of detective Takayuki Yagami as he goes undercover at a prestigious high school to solve a string of twisted bullying cases. You can also join school clubs, such as the Dance Club and Robotics Club, and get to know the culture of each city through various explorable locations.

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed (PS4, PS5)
Cypto is back with his license to probe in this groovy sequel that sees the malicious alien get up to all kinds of trouble when he lands on Earth in the 1960s to get revenge on the KGB for blowing up his mothership. The full story can be experienced with another player so you can cause double the chaos if you have a friend to play alongside.

Two Point Hospital: Jumbo Edition (PS4)
This enjoyable hospital simulator comes with the base game, four huge expansions and two DLCs, namely Bigfoot, Pebberley Island, Close Encounters and Off the Grid full expansions, plus the Retro Items Pack and Exhibition Items Pack.
In the game, you can take control of 27 hospitals that are fully customizable. Of course, with many bizarre illnesses to cure, there’s little time for decorating and DIY as you must also do your best to care for the patients in desperate need of your medical services.

Cursed to Golf (PS4, PS5)
You aren’t competing to become a golfing champion in this acclaimed indie title. Instead, you must play through the devious courses of Golf Purgatory on a quest to return to the land of the living. Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures (PS4, PS5)
Here’s another game for younger gamers that is based on a popular animated franchise. In this title, players can take control of Drac and Mavis and play through classic fairy tale worlds that have been given a spooky spin.

Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition (PS4, PS5)
If you love nothing more than mowing your lawn on a hot summer’s day, you’ll have a blast with this simulation that lets you choose from an authentic and expansive roster of real-world licensed lawnmowers from prestigious manufacturers. In this title, you can mow the grass at various unique locations, including a Dinosaur Safari Park and four of Britain’s finest Ancient sites, so expect something a little more complicated than your own back garden.

SpellForce III Reforced (PS4)
Spellforce III takes place before the acclaimed SpellForce: The Order of Dawn at a time when the rebellion of the renegade mages, known as the Mage Wars, has been quashed by the Crown. The game is rather dated now, of course, but if you’re lucking for a blast of nostalgia, this might be worth a play when you have exhausted the other games on this list, including the more sedate Lawn Mowing Simulator!
