Pit Babe (Thai BL) – Episode 4 Recap & Review

The End of The “Babe’s Boy” Agreement

Episode 4 of Pit Babe starts with Winner picking a fight with Babe after the qualifying match. Alan and the team stop Babe from fighting back while Kim tells him he needs to do better since he has travelled across the country to race with Babe. Kim will lose the enthusiasm to win with dignity and easily step on Babe if his performance is that bad.

Babe is angry and frustrated as he runs back into the rooms. Charlie follows him, but Babe pushes him away, saying he does not want to see his face. Charlie tries to comfort Babe and help him overcome his anger, but Babe flashes back to seeing Charlie with Jeff and pushes him away. He asks Charlie not to follow.

Way is on the Way home when Alan asks him if he knows what’s troubling Babe. Way thinks Babe might be angry about Charlie and adds that he does not understand why Babe gives Charlie any importance. Alan thinks Babe might be into Charlie, but Way thinks it is better to break up if caring about someone will cost Babe’s championship. Alan reminds Way that they cannot force Babe to break up with Charlie, but Way insists it is what needs to be done. Jeff overhears their conversation.

Way joins Babe at their favourite bar just after he feds off an Alpha who tries to get close. Way wants to know whether the reason Babe lost the qualifying is related to Charlie, but Babe is unwilling to discuss it. Way gives Babe a list of Alphas he handpicked and asks him to check if any of them might spark interest, but Babe turns down the offer. Way tells Babe that it is better to be alone since love cannot be trusted. He then takes him to their favourite spot for a meal to help him feel better.

The next scene shows a flashback of Babe and Way at the restaurant enjoying food and Babe teasing Way about being his boyfriend. Back to the present, Babe says he misses the old days. They had no money but had so much fun with just one goal in mind: to win the championship for Alan. Babe remembers when he was so scared to lose that he almost ran away, but Way convinced him to stay. He attributes his success today to Way always believing in him.

Meanwhile, Charlie stresses out, trying to figure out why Babe is not talking to him and asks him to leave the house. He worries that he might never get back to Babe’s house, and Jeff shows concern about the situation and worries that if Babe kicks him out, their plan will be ruined. Charlie tells Jeff not to worry; he will find a way to solve the game and not let Babe ruin the plan.

On race day, some unknown men on a motorcycle attack Babe, but Charlie comes to his rescue, shielding him from their attacks with his body. Babe wants to take Charlie to the hospital, but he stops him because he does not want him to arrive late for the race. They head to the Hallows together, and the X Hunter team is enraged, thinking that Red Racing tried to assault Babe and stop him from racing.

Before the race starts, Babe notices Tony watching at the Hallows. The race begins, and Kim is in the lead, but Babe successfully overtakes him and leads to the finish line. Kim learns that Babe was injured before the race, and his team is likely responsible. Charlie tries to talk to Babe after the match, but he still ignores him, and Alan asks North and Sonic to take him to the hospital.

Later, Kim finds Winner trying to pay someone to attack Babe, and he confronts Winner about hurting Babe. Winner does not take responsibility for hurting Babe even though he is happy he got hurt.

Meanwhile, Babe storms into Tony’s office and warns him to mess with neither him nor the people around him. Babe says he is letting him go to repay the favour of Tony acting as a good adoptive father, but if he messes with Babe again, he will not hesitate to expose his evil deeds and fake wealth.

Babe arrives late and finds Charlie at the house, making him food. After the doctor’s appointment, he checks to see if Charlie is okay and then leaves for bed. The next morning, when Charlie insists on staying at the house as “Babe’s Boy,” Babe tells him that he will call Way and can pick up the racing car for the audition. Henceforth, the deal between them is over, and he leaves Charlie in disbelief at the kitchen island.

He goes to the garage after the gym and ignores Jeff. He asks Alan to tune the car and asks another technician to prepare it for him. Jeff gets angry and goes after Babe, but Alan asks him to leave Babe alone since he is in a bad mood. Jeff asks Alan what Babe’s bad mood has to do with him and why he brings it on him.

Alan teases Jeff about getting angry like an old man while he is just a small boy. Jeff tells Alan that he will strike and refuse to work if he does not fix the problem. Alan says he will fix the problem for him since he is his favourite mechanic. Jeff retaliates by telling Alan that Babe is his favourite, and Alan takes the response as an indication that Jeff is jealous. Babe’s lousy mood is affecting everyone in the garage.

Babe sees Jeff and Charlie talking in the garage, and his anger increases. Jeff waits for him on the Way out of the garage and tries to reason with him, saying that he and Charlie can never have the kind of relationship that Babe seems to think they do. Jeff grabs Babe’s hand, intending to force him to listen, but he sees Babe’s car crashing during a race and bursting into flames. Outside, Charlie tries to talk to Babe, but Babe is convinced that Charlie and Jeff are having a fling. Charlie tries to explain, but since he cannot disclose the relationship between him and Jeff, Babe does not believe him.

Elsewhere, Kenta asks someone for information about Pete of Beyond Group. The person tells him where Pete likes to go and sends a location. Kenta finds Pete in the woods shooting arrows at a tree and tells Tony they found the person they have been looking for. Meanwhile, Charlie tries to get into Babe’s house, but the code is changed, and Babe does not answer his call.

Next, it’s race day again, and Babe looks ready to win. Alan asks him about the headaches he has been experiencing lately, and he says he is feeling okay and is sure to win. The race starts, and Babe maintains a clear lead until his car behaves strangely. The tram notices that Babe’s driving style differs during the race, and they are sure that something is wrong with the car. Suddenly, Babe loses control of the car, veers off track, and bursts into flames.
