The series commences with Kouya Madoka, a freelance photographer who was once a renowned photojournalist but is currently experiencing a career slump. Kouya encounters Haruka Asahina, a young and exceptionally skilled driver who ignites his inspiration. Together, they work towards the dream of ascending the rankings and ultimately standing on the podium.

What Happens in Episode 8 of Overtake!?
In Episode 8, we experience a complete shift in the dynamic. Haruka is offered an opportunity to join Belsorriso as Satsuki is in recovery. Joining the team, Haruka has to face the challenge of working with Toshiki, a former rival who used to treat him with a fair amount of hostility. However, Haruka still goes ahead considering it is a great opportunity to further his career. Unfortunately, Koya hasn’t shown up yet and it concerns Haruka.
