Oshi No Ko is a new drama and mystery series that took the anime community by storm. It follows an unnamed doctor who perishes one night. He reincarnates as an idol named Ai’s son, Aqua. After living a fun life with Ai and his sister Ruby, Aqua sees someone kill Ai. Believing his father is responsible for his and Ai’s demise, Aqua plans to locate his father and make him pay for what he did to them.

Where Can I Watch Oshi No Ko?

Oshi No Ko Season 1 is airing in Japan on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Chiba TV, BS 11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto. It is available to stream on HiDive outside of Asian territories and on Disney Plus in Japan. At the time of writing, there are no plans for this anime to reach any other streaming platforms.

Oshi No Ko Season 1 Episode 2 Release Date

Oshi No Ko Season 1 Episode 2 will release on Wednesday 19th April at approximately 4pm (GMT) / 8am (PT) / 10am (CT). Of course, it’s really dependent on how quickly the platform uploads new episodes. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

Oshi No Ko is not available with the dubbing from release so expect the native Japanese tongue with subtitles to be up first. Dubbing will likely arrive later on down the line.

Season 1 Episode 2 is titled ‘Third Option’ and will be 24 minutes long.

In Oshi No Ko Season 1 Episode 1, we got introduced to our characters Ruby, Ai, Aqua, and many others. We got a deep dive into the poor side of the entertainment and idol industry. The episode concluded with a cliffhanger indicating Ruby and Aqua have become teenagers. Aqua plans to discover his father’s whereabouts.

    Kinda unfair to judge something that isn’t out yet, isn’t it? We should be past this whole dub v sub war it’s 2023. To anyone reading this, enjoy anime the way you want to.
