The episode is titled “CoBro,” hinting toward some important clue associated with Ben’s breakout sitcom character. The plot summary for the episode reads as: “Charles finds an unexpected source for a major clue. A Broadway icon comes knocking at Oliver’s door. And Mabel forms an alternate trio to pursue a lead that sheds light on Ben’s bro and CoBro history.”

What Happened In Episode 6?
Episode 6 of Only Murders is a rather quiet episode by the usual stretch. It is set entirely in the Goosebury Theatre where Howard claims to have encountered the ghost of Giden Goosebury. He was an actor who died on stage in 1919 while performing on opening night. The trio gets together for the first time this season to investigate the murder but carries burdens from their personal lives.
Charles is reeling from Joy’s departure, while Oliver cannot stomach the thought of seeing Loretta as a killer. Both men struggle to cope with their emotions and insecurities. Charles finds himself alone with a fish, President McKinley, and laments the lack of people who care about him. Oliver grapples with more evidence that points the finger towards Loretta as he finds a familiar face in a highly unusual place in the rafters.
Mabel and Tobert continue their stellar partnership, taking more strides in solving the mystery. Jonathan is cleared off the suspicion list owing to his admission of seeking anxiety medication from Dr C.
The episode ends on a sour note as the trio fights among themselves, unable to find a way to work together.
