There is a ton of great content coming to Amazon Prime Video this month, with several top-tier movies and new and returning TV shows landing on the streaming service.
Check out the highlights below and then keep scrolling to take a look at some of the other titles landing on Amazon Prime Video USA this July.
Please note: This list is correct at the time of writing but the Amazon release schedule could change at any time.
July 1
Cry Macho (2021)
Clint Eastwood directs and stars as a one-time rodeo star who agrees to rescue a man’s young son who is living with his alcoholic mother. During their challenging journey together, the former horseman teaches the boy about what it means to be a good man and in the process, starts to find redemption. This isn’t unlike Eastwood movies we have seen before but any opportunity to see the aging actor on the screen should be treasured.
Supernova (2020)
Lovebirds Sam (Colin Firth) and Tusker (Stanley Tucci) are traveling across England in their old RV to visit friends, family, and places from their past. Since Tusker was diagnosed with dementia two years previously, they try to make the most of what is likely to be their last road trip together.
The two leads give heartfelt performances in this achingly sad drama that should give us all cause to answer this question: How will we make the most of the time we have left?
July 4
80 For Brady (2023)
Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Sally Field, and Rita Moreno star in this ‘inspired by a true story’ movie about four best friends (and New England Patriots fans) who take a life-changing trip to the Super Bowl L1 to catch a glimpse of their hero, Tom Brady. Chaos ensues!

The Horror of Dolores Roach – Season 1
Originally created as a one-woman play (and turned into a Spotify podcast), this new Blumhouse television series has been described by Amazon as a “contemporary Sweeney Todd-inspired urban legend of love, betrayal, weed, cannibalism, and survival of the fittest.”
Here’s the official synopsis:
“Dolores Roach (Machado) is released from prison after 16 years and returns to a gentrified Washington Heights. She reunites with an old stoner friend, Luis (Hernandez), who lets her live and work as a masseuse in the basement under his empanada shop. When the promise of her newfound stability is quickly threatened, “Magic Hands” Dolores is driven to shocking extremes to survive.”
Los Incidados (2023)
Based on the novels by Colombian writer Mario Mendoza, this Spanish-language movie is centered around an alcoholic private investigator and the sinister plot he unmasks within the underworld of Bogotá.
The Portable Door (2023)
When Paul Carpenter (Patrick Gibson) starts a new job at a mysterious London firm, he has no idea of the troubles that lie in store for him. As he explores the dark corridors of his new workplace with fellow employee Sophie (Sophie Wilde), he discovers a Portable Door that opens the way to limitless possibilities. Sam Neill and Christophe Waltz star as Paul’s sinister employers who have a very peculiar agenda! Based on the novel by Tom Holt.
July 14
The Summer I Turned Pretty – Season 2
The next season of this romantic drama is based on Jenny Han’s best-selling It’s Not Summer Without You, the second in her YA series of novels.
Here’s the official synopsis:
“Belly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad and Jeremiah fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah’s cancer, she’s not sure summer will ever be the same. When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah’s beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together—and to decide once and for all where her heart lies.”
July 18
Till (2022)
In 1955, teenager Emmett Till was murdered in a racist attack while visiting his cousins in Mississippi. His mother, Mamie Till-Mobley, vowed to bring the people who killed him to justice but due to the systemic racism inherent within the Joe Crow South, the men who lynched her son were acquitted of the crime. This powerful movie sheds light on Mamie Till’s story and how her son’s death sparked the Civil Rights Movement in America. Danielle Deadwyler stars as the mother who proved that one person can make a difference.
July 23
Unseen (2023)
When Sam (Jolene Purdy), a young woman suffering from anxiety issues, receives a video call from Emily (Midori Francis), a nearly blind woman who is running away from her murderous ex in the woods, she must keep a handle on her nerves and guide the unfortunate Emily to safety.
July 25
Knock at the Cabin (2023)
The latest movie from M. Night Shyamalan isn’t the worst movie he has made but it’s still not the return to form that many of us were hoping for. We called this thriller “ambiguously mediocre” in our Knock At The Cabin review but it’s still better than The Happening, which is the director’s biggest misfire to date.
The premise of the movie plays closely to the home invasion thrillers we have seen before but in true Shyamalan fashion, it has a twist that you might not see coming. The movie centers around a young girl and her two dads who are vacationing at their family cabin. But their peaceful time together is interrupted by a group of armed strangers (including Dave Bautista) who arrive at their vacation home with an ominous warning about an impending apocalypse.
July 28
Good Omens – Season 2
David Tennant and Michael Sheen return for this second series of the comedy fantasy based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett. The show revolves around an angel (Sheen) and a demon (Tennant) who try to sabotage the coming of the end times, mainly because they enjoy spending time on Earth. Season 2 will illuminate further light on their unlikely friendship but this time around, they will be joined by the Archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) who shows up on Earth with little memory of who he is.
Expect the same imaginative writing and quirky tone that was present in the first series.
