Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain (2023)
Release Date: April 2
TV chat show host Conan O’Brien and a cast of up-and-coming comic stars take the lead roles in this enjoyable movie about three young friends who set off to find a gold treasure that is rumored to be buried in the titular mountain.
We called this a “silly, breezy comedy” in our positive review of Please Don’t Destroy and praised the chemistry of the movie’s lead actors.

How To Date Billy Walsh (2024)
Release Date: April 5
This British comedy tells the story of two childhood friends, Amelia and Archie.
Archie has romantic feelings for Amelia but just as he is plucking up the courage to tell her, she falls for Billy Walsh, the new transfer student.
The Exorcist: Believer (2023)
Release Date: April 9
David Gordon Green, the director of the rebooted Halloween trilogy, is at the helm of this latest addition to the Exorcist franchise. But despite the presence of Ellen Burstyn, who returns as Chris MacNeil (the mother of Regan, the possessed child in the first film), this wasn’t well-received by critics at the time of its release.
Despite the movie’s failings, it’s better than the other sequels that followed The Exorcist, so is worth a look if you’re a fan of the first movie.

Fallout – Season 1
Release Date: April 11
Fans of the post-apocalyptic video game Fallout have been waiting a long time for this much-anticipated adaptation. Hopes are high that it will match the quality of other recent game adaptations The Last of Us and Twisted Metal but we will know more when it lands on Prime Video in April.
Here’s the official synopsis:
“Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”

Alexander Payne’s new movie received several Oscar nominations but won only one – the Best Supporting Actress award for the supremely talented Da’Vine Joy Randolph who won the Oscar for her role as grieving cook Mary Lamb.
The movie stars Paul Giamatti as a cranky prep school teacher who is forced to remain on campus over the holidays with Mary and a troubled student named Angus (Dominic Sessa) who has nowhere else to go.
