Dead Hot – Season 1
Release Date: March 1
Created and written by Charlotte Coben (Stay Close), this Liverpool-based mystery thriller stars tells the story of two people – Elliott (Bilal Hasna) and Jess (Vivian Oparah) – who are brought together to investigate the disappearance of Peter, Jess’s brother and Elliot’s first love interest, who went missing in mysterious circumstances five years earlier.
Ricky Stanicky (2024)
Release Date: March 7
When three childhood friends pull a prank that goes wrong, they invent an imaginary friend, Ricky Stanicky, to get themselves out of trouble. Twenty years later, they still use the nonexistent friend as an alibi for their immature behaviour, but when their spouses and partners demand to meet him, they’re forced to hire a washed up actor to bring him to life. What could possibly go wrong? Quite a lot, we imagine, in this new comedy starring Zac Efron, Andrew Santino, and John Cena.
Invincible – Season 2 (Part 2)
Release Date: March 14
Part 1 of Invincible Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, with Mark being transported away on a Viltrumite ship. You can read more about that episode here. Part 2 of this acclaimed animated superhero series will continue where that episode left off with a four-episode run to complete the second season.
Road House (2024)
Release Date: March 21
1989’s Road House movie with Patrick Swayze is fondly remembered but it didn’t get many good reviews at the time. This remake, starring Jake Gyllenhall as the former UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, will hopefully get a better response.
Mixed martial artist Conor McGregor makes his feature film acting debut here, so let’s hope he is as good on the screen as he is in the ring.
5lbs of Pressure (2024)
Release Date: March 22
Luke Evans stars as Adam, a man fresh out of prison after serving time for murder. He’s hoping for a new start but his journey towards redemption is halted by the brother of the man he killed, who is seeking revenge. Rory Culkin and Alex Pettyfer also star in this upcoming crime thriller.
