All The Light We Cannot See – Limited Series

Release Date: November 2

Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie, Aria Mia Loberti, and Louis Hofmann are among the cast of this war drama adapted from the 2014 novel of the same name by Anthony Doerr.

“The story of Marie-Laure, a blind French teenager, and Werner, a German soldier, whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.” (source)

Sly (2023)

Release Date: November 3

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Quentin Tarantino contribute to this biographical documentary about Sylvester Stallone, the star of such classic movies as Rocky, Copland, and…erm… Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.

“For nearly 50 years, Sylvester Stallone has entertained millions with iconic characters and blockbuster franchises, from Rocky to Rambo to The Expendables. This retrospective documentary offers an intimate look at the Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director-producer, paralleling his inspirational underdog story with the indelible characters he has brought to life.” (source)

Robbie Williams – Limited Series

Release Date: November 8

Fans of the singer will want to tune into this biographical documentary about the performer’s life and career.

“Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of his solo career, Robbie Williams is the definitive story of his rise to fame and stardom and, as he says, being the “centre of the pop culture world” — and all the ups, downs, and media scrutiny in between. The series features hundreds of hours of intimate, never-before-seen personal archival footage, and intimate access to Williams himself. ” (source)

The Killer (2023)

Release Date: November 10

Early reviews suggest this new crime thriller starring Michael Fassbender as an assassin is another big hit for director David Fincher.

“A man solitary and cold, methodical and unencumbered by scruples or regrets, the killer waits in the shadows, watching for his next target. And yet the longer he waits, the more he thinks he’s losing his mind, if not his cool. A brutal, bloody and stylish noir story of a professional assassin lost in a world without a moral compass, this is a case study of a man alone, armed to the teeth and slowly losing his mind.” (source)

Leo (2023)

Release Date: November 21

Adam Sandler in a new Netflix movie isn’t always a guarantee of a good time as anybody who has seen The Ridiculous Six and The Do Over will tell you. This new animated movie written and voice-acted by the comedy star will hopefully be one of his better movies for the streaming service.

“A 74-year-old lizard named Leo and his turtle friend decide to escape from the terrarium of a Florida school classroom where they have been living for decades.” (source)

Squid Game: The Challenge – Season 1

Release Date: November 22

If you’re going to star in a game show, you might want to choose a show that isn’t based on a series that featured the deaths of its plentiful contestants! Of course, we aren’t expecting anybody to die in this real-life version of the South Korean thriller, so you shouldn’t be too afraid to watch it!

“Though the reality version of Squid Game isn’t a matter of life or death, there’s still a lot on the line: 456 players will compete to win $4.56 million, Netflix’s largest cash prize in reality television history. Through a series of games, each player will be pushed to their limits and forced to ask themselves just how far they’ll go to win, with opportunistic alliances, cutthroat strategies and timely betrayals to follow. ” (source)

Obliterated – Season 1

Release Date: November 30

From the creators of Cobra Kai! That’s all the incentive you need to watch this new comedy series that will hopefully be as good as that aforementioned show.

“Obliterated is a high-octane action-comedy that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.” (source)
