Movies And Shows Coming To Netflix UK In June 2023

Geralt of Rivia returns to Netflix this month for the first volume of the third series of The Witcher and so too does Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is back on the streaming service for a new documentary about his life, only a few weeks after he made his TV-show debut in FUBAR.

Also streaming this month is the musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Matilda as well as Extraction 2 which once again sees Chris Hemsworth in the role of Tyler Rake, a name perhaps best suited to a gardening show, who once again puts his life on the line during another dangerous mission.

Check out this month’s highlights below and then keep scrolling to take a look at some of the other titles landing on Netflix UK this June.

Please note: This list is correct at the time of writing but titles may be added (or removed) over the coming weeks.

When the extraction goes awry and the gangster dies in the heat of battle, the villain’s brother tracks down Rake to get his revenge.

The first movie was one of Netflix’s biggest hits so here’s hoping this second movie, in what could be a very profitable franchise for the streaming service, is just as good as the entertaining original.

June 25

Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical (2022)

If you missed the cinema release or if you want to rewatch this fantastically fun movie, you now have the chance to do so when Matilda finally arrives on UK Netflix this June.

Alisha Weir takes the lead role of the girl with the extraordinary mind and joining her in the cast is the wonderfully funny Emma Thompson as the miserable old battleaxe, Agatha Trunchbull. Lashana Lynch, Stephen Graham, and Andrea Riseborough also star in this delightful movie.

June 28

In this Australian horror movie, Sarah Snook stars as a mother whose daughter may or may not be possessed by the spirit of her dead sister. Is the little girl playing tricks on her mom?
