The Santa Clauses – Season 2

Ordinary life didn’t suit Scott Calvin so he’s back at the North Pole with his family. But while he might be donning Santa’s famous suit again, this second season suggests he might still be thinking about retiring! The first two episodes fall down our chimneys on this date.
Synopsis:
“In the series’ sophomore season, the Calvin family is back at the North Pole, as Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) continues his role as Santa Claus after his retirement plans were thwarted when he failed to find a worthy successor in season one. Now that Scott and his family have successfully saved Christmas, Scott turns his focus towards training his son Cal (Austin Kane) to eventually take over the “family business” as Santa Claus.” (source)
Dashing Through the Snow (2023)

Teyonah Parris, Ludacris, Mary Lynn Rajskub, and Lil Rel Howery star in this early festive treat about a father and daughter who meet a man who is dressed suspiciously like Santa Claus.

The Naughty Nine (2023)
Release Date: November 23
Have your kids been misbehaving? If so, you might want to sit them down in front of this festive film about a group of young people who have been put on Santa’s naughty list. Here’s hoping they learn the error of their ways!
Synopsis:
“Mischievous fifth grader Andy finds himself without a present from Santa on Christmas morning. Realizing he must have landed on the “naughty list” and feeling unfairly maligned, Andy pulls together a team of eight other “naughty listers” to help him execute an elaborate heist in Santa’s Village at the North Pole to get the presents they feel they deserve. Along the way, the group comes to realize that the very best way off the naughty list is to redirect their unique talents for good instead of mischief.” (source)
Doctor Who – The Star Beast
Release Date: November 25
The Doctor is back but he’s not at all who we expected. When Jodie Whittaker regenerated at the end of Season 13, we all thought Ncuti Gatwe was going to fill the role of the Time Lord. But it appears that his appearance has been pushed back until Christmas as David Tennant is the new/old face of The Doctor.
What’s going on? Here’s hoping we find out during the three specials that will be landing on Disney’s streaming service before Christmas. The first special is materializing on this date with Catherine Tate returning to the role of Donna Noble and Neil Patrick Harris starring as The Toymaker.
