Check out the trailer above for snippets of his latest adventures.

The Little Mermaid (2023)

Not every live-action remake of Disney’s animated classics has been worthwhile but The Little Mermaid is better than most. In our review of the film, we said “the human characters have a lot more depth than those in the original” and called it a “great one-time watch.” The weak special effects let the film down though, so while it’s an entertaining movie, it does contain the CGI problems that marred some of the other Disney remakes. It’s still worth a watch though, especially for younger viewers.

Here’s the movie’s synopsis:

“The Little Mermaid is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden from interacting with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.”
