There is much to look forward to on Apple TV+ this month, including The Crowded Room, a brand new psychological thriller starring Tom Holland, and the second season of murder mystery comedy, The Afterparty.

June 9
The Crowded Room – Season 1
Tom Holland stars in this much-anticipated new series written by Academy Award winner Akiva Goldsman, as a man named Danny Sullivan who, after finding himself in the midst of a murder, is arrested for the shocking crime. Did he do it? This is something Amanda Seyfried’s investigator is tasked with finding out when she starts to suspect Danny might be involved because of his mysterious past.
June 23
Carpool Karaoke: The Series – Season 6
In this season of the Emmy-winning show, Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Cedric the Entertainer and Abbott Elementary‘s Sheryl Lee Ralph are among the celebrities who will be belting out tunes from the seats of a car, much to the amusement of onlookers in the traffic. Here’s hoping their singing doesn’t cause anybody to get into a road accident!
Swagger – Season 2
Loosely inspired by NBA superstar Kevin Durant’s experiences in youth basketball, this second season of the sports drama continues Jace Carson’s journey as he and his team move to a predominantly white prep school to support its fading basketball program. Returning cast members O’Shea Jackson Jr., Isaiah Hill, Shinelle Azoroh, and Quvenzhané Wallis are joined by a few new faces, including Orlando Jones and Shannon Brown.
June 28
Hijack – Season 1
Idris Elba stars in this real-time thriller as an experienced business negotiator who is called upon to use his special set of skills when the plane he is on is taken over by terrorists. Here is the official synopsis:
“Told in real-time, “Hijack” is a tense thriller that follows the journey of a hijacked plane as it makes its way to London over a seven-hour flight, and authorities on the ground scramble for answers. Elba will star as Sam Nelson, an accomplished negotiator in the business world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the lives of the passengers — but his high-risk strategy could be his undoing. Panjabi will play the role of Zahra Gahfoor, a counterterrorism officer who is on the ground when the plane is hijacked and becomes part of the investigation.”
