Poltergeist (2015)

They’re heeeere…again! Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie DeWitt star in this remake of the classic 1982 film and while it isn’t as good as the original, it still offers up a few mild scares for those looking for something spooky to watch during the Halloween season.

The Ghost Within (2023)

This horror movie focuses on a woman named Margot Richardson (Michaela Longden) who returns to her family home years after her facially deformed sister was murdered by her father. While here, Margot must reckon with the ghosts of her past of both the literal and metaphorical kind.

97 Minutes (2023)

The passengers of a hijacked 767 plane have more to worry about than their sky-high abductors when the aircraft begins to run out of fuel, with only 97 minutes remaining before it is due to crash.

When NSA Deputy Hawkins (Alec Baldwin) decides to have the plane shot down before it causes catastrophic damage, the fate of the passengers is left in the hands of an undercover Interpol agent named Alex (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) who has been embedded in the terrorist cell.

The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee (2020)

Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan stars as himself in this reasonably enjoyable comedy. The Aussie icon is trying to live a quiet life in blissful retirement but this is interrupted when his agent calls and tells him he’ll be receiving a knighthood for services to comedy. All kinds of comical shenanigans ensue.

As a result of being kidnapped by a masked assailant, Maddie Bosch’s law enforcement career hangs in the balance. While they hunt for Maddie, the FBI scrutinizes Carl Rogers’ murder and places Bosch and Chandler under suspicion.”

Gasoline Alley (2022)

Here’s another late-in-the-day movie for actor Bruce Willis who starred in many low-budget crime thrillers like this one towards the end of his career. Luke Wilson and Devon Sawa also star in this film about a man who is implicated in the triple homicide of three Hollywood starlets.

October 28
