Please note: This list is correct at the time of writing but titles may be added (or removed) over the coming weeks.

Back To The Future trilogy (1985-1990)

Great Scott! Every movie in the Back To The Future trilogy is arriving on Freevee this June and while we know you will have seen them countless times before, there is always room for one more viewing.

The first movie in the franchise is arguably the best, closely followed by the Wild West adventures of the third instalment. But Back To The Future 2, which has always been the runt of the litter due to its complicated plotline, is still a lot of fun and much better than you probably remember.

Here’s hoping Hollywood doesn’t remake this trilogy as to many people, these movies are nigh on perfect!

Limbo (2020)

Set on a fictional Scottish island, this lowkey but very enjoyable movie tells the story of Omar, a young Syrian musician, who is stuck on the island while he awaits news about his asylum request.

You may have seen movies that deal with the refugee crisis before but it’s unlikely you will have seen one as warm and as funny as this underrated gem that makes its points about immigration without being politically heavy.

The Hunger Games movies (2012-2015)

Later this year, we will be returning to Panem for a prequel to The Hunger Games movies that you will have likely seen already. Set 64 years before the events of the first movie, it will introduce us to a young Coriolanus Snow and the events that led to him becoming the tyrannical president that the folks of Panem feared and hated.

The new movie is scheduled for release in November but if you need a reminder of how cruel Snow became, now is as good a time as any to catch up with the original series of movies that were adapted from Suzanne Collins’ popular series of YA novels.

Actress Jennifer Lawrence has since gone on to have an illustrious Hollywood career but it was her performance as Katniss Everdeen, the rebellious teenager in this dystopian quartet, for which she might always be best remembered.

June 9

Tribunal Justice – Season 1

This new series, which has been created by Judge Judy Sheindlin, features a panel of three judges who will be laying down the law to the luckless individuals who enter their courtroom.

Don’t expect the humor of Jury Duty, another recent courtroom show on Freevee that, unbeknownst to one clueless individual, was entirely fictional. This show features real-life cases and as such, it is guaranteed to be a compelling watch, especially for any fan of the long-running courtroom series, Judge Judy!

June 27

Inglourious Basterds (2009)

Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, and Mélanie Laurent are among the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s off-kilter war movie about a group of Jewish US soldiers plotting to assassinate Nazi leaders.

You shouldn’t expect a lot of historical accuracy from this WW2-set tale but it’s more entertaining than most due to its eccentric cast of characters and invigorating sense of humor.
