March 5

The Outlast Trials

Platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC

The Outlast Trials is a cooperative first-person psychological survival horror video game set in the era of the Cold War where human guinea pigs are involuntarily recruited by the Murkoff Corporation to test advanced methods of brainwashing and mind control.

In this game, you’re one of the prisoners trapped inside the Murkoff facility, and alone or with up to 3 other players, you must complete the trials in order to get your way back into society. The core gameplay involves avoiding enemies, hiding from them, and running away. However, you do have the ability to stun them and slow them down, so you aren’t completely powerless in this disturbing horror title.

Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator

Platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC

Experience the life of a taxi driver in this simulation game set in sunny Barcelona. Deliver your passengers and cargo on time, discover famous landmarks, and overcome the hazards that threaten to slow you down, including traffic jams, road accidents, stormy days, and more.

This is no Crazy Taxi-style game as you have to follow the rules of the road, so that means no nipping across parks and jumping over pedestrians as you do your best to keep your customers happy and build your transport empire.

March 15

Outcast: A New Beginning

Platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC

Outcast: A New Beginning is the sequel to the 1999 sci-fi action title Outcast, a game that became famous for pioneering the genre of non-linear open world games. In this new title, you return to the spectacular alien world of Adelpha as the original game’s main character Cutter Slade. The planet has been taken over by invading robot forces and stripped of its resources so it’s your job to save this once-vibrant world again.

As before, the game is non-linear, so how you complete your mission is up to you. A handy jetpack enables you to get around the world with ease, so you’ll be able to quickly traverse the game’s expansive locations as you work to save the enslaved people on the planet.

March 20

Alone in the Dark

Platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|C, PC

Previous games in the franchise have failed to capitalize on the terrifying original which could be why this upcoming release is (to quote THQ Nordic) a “love letter” to the first game in the series that was released way back in 1992.

Set in the gothic American South, the game puts you in the shoes of either Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood. During your playthrough, you will explore creepy environments, fight monsters, solve puzzles, and get ever closer to uncovering the true secret of Decerto Manor.

Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) and David Harbour (Stranger Things) lend their voices to the main characters in this psychological horror game.

March 22

Dragon’s Dogma 2

Platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a single-player, narrative-driven adventure that puts you in the shoes of the Arisen, a hero marked by a dragon whom you must defeat. In this fantasy sequel, you will take on quests, defeat monsters both large and small, and recruit Pawns (non-playable characters) who will assist you on your journey.

In terms of gameplay, this looks to be very similar to the original game, but with better graphics, smoother gameplay, and a larger world to explore.

March 22

Rise of the Ronin

Platforms: PS5

From Team Ninja, the veteran studio behind Ninja Gaiden and Nioh comes this open-world action RPG set in a war-torn 19th-century Japan. Amidst the chaos of the war, disease, and political unrest, you take on the role of a nameless warrior who has the power to shape the course of history through the game’s multi-choice system.

Will you assassinate or protect key figures? Will you help the citizens you meet on your travels? Will you pick up this game on launch day? You will face all these decisions and more when this exciting open world game releases in March.

March 26

South Park: Snow Day

Platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC

Snow Day means one thing – No school!!! Yaay! Of course, in reality, you won’t be able to skip school or work when this latest South Park title releases on this date. But you will have something to look forward to when you get home, especially if you’re a fan of the show and want to play a fun game with your friends.

Play with up to three other players (or play solo with bots) as you join Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny (be careful not to get him killed), in this action-packed combat game where you traverse the snow-covered town of South Park and battle warring factions with devastating melee and ranged weapons (and presumably snowballs).
