My Stand-In
Coming in hot and rated 18+, new Thai BL My Stand-In is directed by Khom Kongkiat Khomsiri, who also helmed KinnPorsche.
It’s a Thai BL drama following the strange life of stuntman Joe who body doubles for Tong, a famous actor. In a relationship with Ming, he doesn’t realize that Ming sees him as Tong’s replacement. Not long after finding out, he dies in an accident on set. When he wakes, Joe is in the body of another man, also called Joe. He manages to return to his old life as the new Joe and meets Ming again. This time, Ming seeks the new Joe, holding memories of the original Joe. Sound confusing? Let’s watch together and see how it all plays out.
The drama is adapted from novel Professional Body Double by Shui Qiang Cheng and stars Poom Phuripan Sapsangsawat (Bake Me Please, Jenny AM/PM) as Joe, Up Poompat Iam-samang (Start-Up) as Ming and Mek Jirakit Thawornwong as Tong (The Player, Angel Beside Me).

What will happen in the next episode?
One of the guys tells Joe that someone from their crew went to Korea to become an idol. Son tells Joe missed him. When he takes a drunk Joe home, Ming is waiting there. There’s jealousy in the air as both ask who the other person is. Ming accuses Joe of having an interest in Son. Ming claims he’s not jealous, that Joe is merely a stand-in.
