Below is a rundown of all the biggest movie releases that are available to stream in February.

Let us know which movies you will be watching in the comments below.

Orion and the Dark (2024)

Release Date: February 2

Where To Watch: Netflix

Based on the children’s book of the same name, Orion and the Dark tells the story of Orion, a rather anxious young chap with an irrational fear of murderous gutter clowns (we’re presuming he’s seen the IT movies), the ocean, and the thing he has to contend with on a nightly basis – the dark!

When the literal embodiment of his nightly fear pays him a visit, Orion is whisked away on a roller coaster ride around the world by Dark who helps the boy overcome his nighttime anxiety. Will Orion finally be able to let go of his fears?

Past Lives (2023)

Release Date: February 2

Where To Watch: Paramount+

Nominated for the Best Picture Oscar at this year’s Academy Awards, Past Lives tells the story of two deeply connected childhood friends who are reunited for one fateful week, years after being wrested apart.

The Tiger’s Apprentice (2024)

Release Date: February 2

Where To Watch: Paramount+

Michelle Yeoh, Lucy Liu, Sandra Oh, and Henry Golding are among the voice cast of this fantastical animated movie about a Chinese-American boy named Tom Lee who becomes the new guardian of an ancient phoenix after he is apprenticed to a talking tiger.

Strays (2023)

Release Date: February 6

Where To Watch: Prime Video

Most talking dog movies are for family audiences but this comedy from Josh Greenbaum (Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar) is definitely not for younger viewers. Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Isla Fisher, and Randall Park voice the stray dogs in this raunchy comedy that sees the canines getting revenge on one of their group’s former owners.

The Marvels (2023)

Release Date: February 7

Where To Watch: Disney+

Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau team up to save the universe in a movie that was deemed less than marvellous by many critics. The lead actresses are great but the film sadly fails to soar when it comes to coherent storytelling and special effects wizardry.

Where To Watch: Prime Video

Just in time for Valentine’s Day is this romantic comedy about an art intern named Ana (Camila Mendes) who meets the wealthy and handsome William (Archie Renaux) on a plane when she is invited to go to London on a work trip. The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023)

Release Date: February 11
