Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol 3

You might want to have your handkerchief’s at the ready because Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 may be the last time we see our band of space heroes together.
This latest entry in the MCU sees our titular band of space heroes go up against the diabolical High Evolutionary who has a long-standing connection to Rocket that (just in case you haven’t seen the movie) we aren’t going to reveal here.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 is certainly one of the most emotional movies in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe with one particular heartbreaking scene that may well make you cry. Don’t worry though – it’s not all doom and gloom, as there is plenty of comedy and action in the movie too, so while you might need a hanky, you will still be entertained by the Guardians’ latest (and possibly final) adventure.
The River Wild (2023)

Leighton Meester, Taran Killam, and Adam Brody star in this reworking of the 1994 survival thriller about a pair of siblings who embark on a whitewater rafting adventure with a childhood friend who turns out to be more dangerous than he appears.
The Super Mario. Bros Movie (2023)

Don’t worry – this isn’t the Bob-Hoskins 1993 bomb that has gone down as one of the worst video game adaptations of all time! This is the recent animated feature that proved it wasn’t game-over for video game movies! All the characters you know and love from the classic game franchise are here, including Mario (Chris Pratt), Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), and Luigi (Charlie Day).
The plot follows Mario, Princess Peach, and an anthropomorphic mushroom named Toad as they travel through the Mushroom Kingdom to find Luigi and save the world from a ruthless fire-breathing Koopa named Bowser.
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead (2023)

This live-action adaption of the manga series written by Haro Aso (Alice in Borderland) is centered around a weary office worker named Akira who ironically starts to feel more alive when a zombie apocalypse ravages his town. He sets himself a mission to complete all 100 items on his bucket list before he…well, kicks the bucket!
Heart of Stone (2023)

Gal Gadot stars in this new action thriller that is expected to be one of the biggest Netflix movies of the year. The Wonder Woman star takes on the role of an intelligence operative for a shadowy global peacekeeping agency who is tasked with stopping a hacker from stealing its most valuable and dangerous asset.
Cocaine Bear (2023)

Keri Russell, Alden Ehrenreich, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Sweet Tooth’s Christian Convery star in this absurdist comedy-thriller about a huge black bear that goes on a murderous rampage after ingesting cocaine! A reminder, if any was needed, that bringing a picnic into the woods is always preferable to packing drugs into your backpack!
Miguel Wants To Fight (2023)

To Catch a Killer (2023)

A serial killer is on the loose in Baltimore and it’s up to a rookie detective (Shailene Woodley) to catch this disturbed individual before he strikes again. Ben Mendelson and Ralph Ineson are among the cast of this less-than-gripping thriller.
Amsterdam (2022)

A large ensemble cast, including Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and Anya Taylor-Joy star in this 1930s-set tale about 3 friends who find themselves involved in one of the most outrageous plots in American history.
The Black Demon (2023)

Just when you thought it was safe to go into the water… comes another shark movie that is guaranteed to make you rethink your summer vacation plans!
This one focuses on oilman Paul Sturges who takes his family to Bahia Negra, a Mexican coastal town that is home to his best-performing rig. The once-vibrant town is now mostly desolate and the reason why soon becomes clear when the last remaining inhabitants warn Paul of a bloodthirsty black demon (in reality, a massive shark) that has laid claim to the local waters.
How To Blow Up A Pipeline (2022)

This was one of the best movies of last year, according to some critics. Ariela Barer, Kristine Froseth, Sasha Lane, and Lukas Gage are among the cast of this movie that tells the story of a group of climate activists who plot a daring plan to disrupt an oil pipeline.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023)

Based on the tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, this recent fantasy action adventure focuses on a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers who embark on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic.
Chris Pine leads the cast as a bard named Edgin and he is joined by Michelle Rodriguez (Holga the Barbarian), Justice Smith (Simon the Sorcerer), and Sophia Lillis (Doric the Druid).
Vacation Friends 2 (2023)

Picking up a few months after the end of the last movie, this sequel finds newly married couple Marcus (Lil Rel Howery) and Emily (Yvonne Orji) inviting their uninhibited best friends Ron (John Cena) and Kyla (Meredith Hagner) to an all-expenses paid trip to a Caribbean resort. It’s not long before the couple’s best-laid plans descend into chaos when Kyla’s incarcerated father (Steve Buscemi) turns up on the island after being released from prison.
You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah! (2023)

Adam Sandler and members of his own family star in this new comedy based on the novel by Fiona Rosenbloom.
