Murder At Yellowstone City 2
Isaiah Mustafa (It: Chapter Two) stars as former slave Cicero in this recent murder mystery western. Thomas Jane, Gabriel Byrne, Nat Wolff, and Aimee Garcia are also part of the talented cast that brings life to a chilling story of greed and revenge set in Yellowstone City, Montana, during 1881.
If you have seen and enjoyed this movie, you might be interested in a sequel. But will there be a part 2? Or is there no real need for a follow-up movie to Murder At Yellowstone City.

What is Murder At Yellowstone City about?
The movie follows the story of Cicero after he arrives in Yellowstone City. Some of the townsfolk are instantly suspicious of him and they become even more suspicious when a local gold prospector is murdered.
Did Cicero kill the man? The Sheriff certainly thinks so and he arrests Cicero for the crime. But as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the real murderer is still on the loose.

Will there be a Murder At Yellowstone City 2?
There has been no official word of a sequel at this stage and to be honest, we don’t think a sequel is likely.
We think this because Murder At Yellowstone City appears to be a standalone movie. This isn’t to say there isn’t scope for a sequel but if there is a part 2, it would have no relation to the murder mystery at the heart of the first movie as the case is solved before the end credits roll.
What could Murder At Yellowstone City 2 be about?
As we said, a sequel is very unlikely.
But if there is a part 2, it could focus on Cicero and his life outside of Yellowstone City. He leaves at the end of the first movie and rides off on his horse, presumably in search of a new place to call home. In a sequel, he could get into further trouble in another town, but as for what that trouble might be, we aren’t entirely sure.
If the sequel didn’t follow Cicero’s story, it could centre on religious man Thaddeus Murphy (Thomas Jane) and his wife Alice (Anna Camp) as they promised to bring peace to Yellowstone City at the movie’s end. As we all know from the many westerns we have seen before, peace is something that rarely happens in the Wild West, so there could be another murder in the town. Thaddeus and Alice would presumably investigate the murder and bring the killer to justice.

When could Murder At Yellowstone City 2 be released?
If a sequel is given the green light, there is the chance that it could be released as soon as next year but as a follow-up doesn’t seem to be in pre-production, we might have to wait until 2024 or later.
It would be unwise to get your hopes up, however, as we really don’t think a Part 2 is ever going to happen.
But if we do hear news of a sequel, we will update this page accordingly.
