Flatliners 3
Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts and Kevin Bacon starred in the classic 1990 thriller directed by the late and great Joel Schumacher. It garnered a cult following that still exists today, and this was prevalent when a reboot/sequel came out in 2017. Kiefer Sutherland returned in a cameo role, but the story primarily focused on a new group of characters. But will there be a Flatliners 3? Or do we have to settle for the first two movies? Will there be a sequel to Flatliners?
No, Flatliners 3 won’t happen for a very straightforward reason: the reboot/sequel bombed at the box office and was received very negatively from critics and fans alike.
What could Flatliners 3 be about?
Despite a sequel being very unlikely, in theory, a sequel could focus on a new group of medical students who experiment with near death experiences. However, this is very unlikely.
When could Flatliners 3 be released?
The sequel would have at least been discussed if it were in the works. However, since there is currently no information regarding Flatliners 3, it is best to avoid getting your hopes up, as the likelihood of one is extremely low.
