Will there be a Creed 4?
Creed III is the latest in the ongoing Rocky spin-off series. Now standing on its own two feet, the latest boxing movie follows Adonis Creed as he faces his toughest challenge yet, Dame Anderson. If you have seen and enjoyed the movie, you may be wondering if there will be a sequel. Here’s what we know at the time of writing:
What is Creed III about?
From the opening flashback to Los Angeles in 2002, it’s immediately clear that this is a gritty and different direction for the franchise. Directed by Michael B. Jordan, the film depicts a bitter and intensely personal feud between Adonis Creed and his childhood friend Damian Anderson.
Adonis has retired from professional boxing, having hung up his gloves and is struggling to find his place in a post-boxing world. He’s putting all his weight behind raising the next crop of superstars, including current champ Felix Chavez. Drago is still kicking about too and Donnie is serving as promoter for the “fight of the year” between the two.
When Damian Anderson returns to the scene, Adonis finds his world turned upside down as he has to reckon with the past while simultaneously looking to the future. This inevitably turns ugly when the truth about Dame and Adonis’ past is unveiled and the tension spills over both inside and outside the ring.
We have extensive coverage of Creed (and Rocky) across the site including an ending explained for every movie and reviews for the latest Creed title. You can find those HERE!
Will there be a Creed IV?
At the time of writing, a sequel to Creed IV has been confirmed. Michael B Jordan was approached by IGN at IGN FanFest and confirmed that Creed 4 is “for sure”. He continues: “I just want to expand the Creed-verse within reason, but definitely expect other things around Creed for sure.”
Whether this means Adonis himself will be back in the saddle and fighting again is another matter. However, it’s great news for fans to know this isn’t the end of the Creed-verse and we’ll be getting more movies later on down the line.
What could Creed IV be about?
There are a few possibilities around which way Creed IV could go. We’ve already seen Dame probably isn’t finished in the ring so he could still get another shot at the championship. Then we have Felix Chavez, who could decide to join a rival gym and leave Adonis, turning his back on him and goading the champ into fighting. Or maybe it could even be Drago again?
More likely though, given the direction the film takes, is that we’ll see the attention shift from Adonis across to his daughter, Amara. Throughout Creed III, we saw her grow more and more interested in boxing. Furthermore, her little pretend fight at the end could be a teasing glimpse of the future. Either way though, expect Creed IV to throw plenty of knock-out blows when it drops in the future!
When could Creed 4 be released?
As we don’t have any concrete information to go on, it’s fair to assume that the film won’t be ready until 2025 at the earliest. Given there’s no script written, no casting or production design complete, it’ll be a while before we see Michael B. Jordan and the gang back in the room.
That’s all we know for now but if we do hear news of a sequel, we will update this page with the relevant information.

We need rocky to return in creed 4
I feel like Damien will die in the ring like how Apollo died in rocky 4.
No one wants to see a movie of his daughter fighting. We wanna see felix losses the belts to drago and dam vs drago.
I predict Adonis daughter Amara grown up, who wants to follow her father’s steps, training for a boxing competition.
