Here’s everything we know:
What is Scoop about?
Scoop is a fictional look into the infamous interview between BBC and Prince Andrew. After Queen Elizabeth II’s second son, Prince Andrew is linked to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, mayhem unleashes. In trying to get to the truth, an interview that allows Andrew to explain his side of the story is suggested. With rumours going about that the Queen herself has approved the interview, a rigorous procedure takes place to prevent the interview from being a disaster.

Will there be a Scoop 2?
At the time of writing, Netflix hasn’t announced a sequel to Scoop.
Scoop has been co-produced by Voltage TV which has several titles to its name. However, they have only made standalone documentaries so far as they mostly focus on TV shows.
As for Netflix, it picks up projects they have distributed and announces sequels depending on the popularity, views and drop-off rates. Some movies are instantly renewed like Enola Holmes and Rebel Moon while others take years such as Extraction and Murder Mystery.
So, if Scoop does well on Netflix, we could maybe get a sequel. But it is unlikely at the moment.
What do we know about Scoop 2?
Not much is known about Scoop 2 at the moment given that it has not been greenlit. It has a definite ending as it follows the true events of the BBC interview. So, there is no more source material for a sequel.
However, it can turn into an anthology of types with the sequel focusing on other British Royal controversies and incidents that took the world by surprise such as Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah or the PR chaos during Kate’s hiatus which led to her personally addressing her absence.
However, nothing is confirmed yet, but we’ll be sure to update this page as soon as any new information comes in.
