Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver is a highly engaging sci-fi drama inspired by the iconic Star Wars franchise. Following Part 1, Part 2 focuses on Admiral Atticus Noble setting out to get his revenge on the villagers of Veldt after they cross him in the first instalment. The added bonus is that the village also harbours a fugitive, Kora, the adopted daughter of Noble’s leader, Balisarius.
The movie stars Sofia Boutella as Kora, Michiel Huisman as Gunnar and Ed Skrein as Atticus Noble. Along with them, the cast includes Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Staz Nair, Anthony Hopkins and Cary Elwes while being helmed by director Zack Snyder. With a shocking revelation and Devra’s appearance, the movie’s ending had viewers on the edge of their seats.

What is Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver about?
Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver begins after the events of Part 1. Having reached Veldt, Kora and Co. train the villagers to fight as they prepare for the showdown with Noble. Meanwhile, Noble has his own plans as he finds a loophole that will get him what he wants the most – Kora’s head and Balisarius’ approval. Caught in the crossfire is the farmer Gunnar who falls in love with Kora and lets his impulsive side put his whole village at risk.

Will there be a Rebel Moon Part 3?
At the time of writing, Netflix hasn’t announced a Rebel Moon Part 3.
Rebel Moon is a 10-year-old project helmed by Zack Snyder who has great plans. However, all of it rests on Netflix. And as usual, the OTT platform looks at the popularity, views and drop-off rates before greenlighting a sequel. Some movies are instantly renewed like Enola Holmes and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before while others take years such as Extraction and Murder Mystery.
So, if Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver does well on Netflix, we could maybe get a sequel. But it is unlikely at the moment.
However, we have some happy news to share with you all — we will be getting extended cuts for both movies, Part 1 and Part 2 sometime in August according to Snyder.
What do we know about Rebel Moon Part 3?
Not much is known about Rebel Moon Part 3 at the moment given that it has not been greenlit. However, Zack Snyder has revealed that he has planned out an expansive series and has been working on the story for Part 3. Should Netflix give the go-ahead, he knows what he wants to do with the sequel.
And to give fans a taste, he also hints at the storyline with the ending of Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver. Princess Issa is alive and seems to be “death herself.” Kora, Titus, Devra, Titus, Tarak, Millius and Jimmy all agree to set out and find her while hoping to take down Balisarius.
However, nothing is confirmed yet, but we’ll be sure to update this page as soon as any new information comes in.
